    Abstract: A scope protector has an elongated strip of a flexible sheet material having a center portion, inner and outer side surfaces, and opposite ends. A first fastening element is on the outer surface of one end of said strip, and a second fastening element is on the inner surface at the other end of said strip. The length of the strip is slightly greater than the circumference of the scope uponwhich it is to be mounted so that the fastening elements can be superimposed on each other when the strip is wrapped around the scope.
