  • Patent number: 10252858
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a caddy for cleaning supplies combining a storage tray, integrated chute and removable storage bin for holding dirty or contaminated items. The caddy generally has an upper section with a carrying handle for holding cleaning tools and a lower section used as a storage bin for dirty or contaminated items. In operation, the upper tray is removably fastened to the lower bin wherein the tray acts as a cover for the storage bin with the sidewalls of the storage tray positioned above the lower bin. Accordingly, the entire storage bin opening is covered by the tray when the upper section is fastened thereto. Additionally, a chute extends through the storage tray for depositing dirty or contaminated materials without unfastening the upper section from the lower section. Thus, unused or otherwise clean items are separated from dirty items while still being sufficiently held in a single caddy.
