  • Publication number: 20210077869
Abstract: A golf club head includes a club body including a crown, a sole, a skirt disposed between and connecting the crown and the sole and a face portion connected to a front end of the club body. The face portion includes a geometric center defining the origin of a coordinate system when the golf club head is ideally positioned, the coordinate system including an x-axis being tangent to the face portion at the origin and parallel to a ground plane, a y-axis intersecting the origin being parallel to the ground plane and orthogonal to the x-axis, and a z-axis intersecting the origin being orthogonal to both the x-axis and the y-axis. The golf club head defines a center of gravity CG, the CG being a distance CGY from the origin as measured along the y-axis and a distance CGZ from the origin as measured along the z-axis.

  • Publication number: 20210069558
Abstract: A cast cup can include a forward portion of a golf club head, including a hosel, a face portion, and forward portions of a crown, sole, heel and toe. A rear ring can be formed separately from the cast cup and coupled to heel and toe portions of the cast cup to form a metallic club head body, such that the club head body defines a hollow interior region, a crown opening, and a sole opening. The cast cup and rear ring can be cast of titanium alloys. Composite crown and sole inserts can then be coupled to the crown opening and sole opening. The face portion of the cast cup can have a desirably complex geometry. The rear surface of the face portion of the cast cup can be modified before the rear ring is attached.

  • Patent number: 10780327
Abstract: Disclosed golf club head bodies are cast of 9-1-1 titanium with the face plate being cast as a unitary part of the body along the with crown, sole, skirt and hosel. Due to the 9-1-1 titanium material, the face plate and other portions of the body can have a reduced alpha case thickness and resulting greater durability. This can eliminate the need to reduce the alpha case thickness using hydrofluoric acid or other dangerous chemical etchants. Casting methods can include preheating the casting mold to a lower than normal temperature, to further reduce the amount of oxygen transferred from the mold to the 9-1-1 titanium during casting.

  • Patent number: 10763997
Abstract: A first communication device generates a media access control (MAC) frame that includes an indication of a change in a block acknowledgment (BA) session that was previously established between the first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device transmits the MAC frame to the second communication device. The MAC frame is configured to cause the second communication device to adopt the change in the BA session in response to receiving the MAC frame.

  • Patent number: 10721026
Abstract: A first communication device generates a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes (i) acknowledgement information to indicate, to a second communication device, whether the first communication device successfully received multiple media access control (MAC) frames transmitted by the second communication device, and (ii) an indication of a change in a BA session between the first communication device and the second communication device. The first communication device transmits the BA frame to the second communication device, where the BA frame causes the second communication device to adopt the change in the BA session in response to receiving the BA frame.

  • Publication number: 20200107393
Abstract: A method for operation of a first communication device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) communication channel, having a plurality of component channels, between the first communication device and a second communication device is described. A first physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) and a second PPDU, distinct from the first PPDU, are generated. The first PPDU and second PPDU are transmitted simultaneously to the second communication device over the WLAN communication channel, including: transmitting the first PPDU via a first component channel within a first radio frequency (RF) channel segment that occupies a first frequency bandwidth, and transmitting the second PPDU via a second component channel within a second RF channel segment that occupies a second frequency bandwidth that does not overlap the first frequency bandwidth segment, and is separated from the first frequency bandwidth segment by a frequency gap.
