    Abstract: Calibration could be implemented in several stages during the color rendering processes. One possible and efficient place to put the calibration to work is in the screen table itself. In order to make the screen intelligent enough to adjust the factor results from output device characteristics, such as the dot gain, toner characteristics, etc., the method is introduced to create a gamma function with normalized gradation curve. Some color balance adjustment features (contrast, brightness, saturation and color strength) also have been taken into consideration.
