    Abstract: Present invention teaches the method of using a keratin hydrolysis peptide (“KHP”) solution to enhance the drought tolerance attribute of wheat plants. By selectively choosing specific weights of feathers and water, and treating the mixture to a high-temperature high-pressure hydrolysis process, the resulting solution is confirmed to contain at least 253 peptides and then infused to the soil in which the wheat seeds are planted; the solution can also be sprayed to the leaf surface of young wheat plants. Optionally, the KHP solution can be diluted by water, as disclosed in the specification, for applying to the soil around the wheat plants and for spraying to leaf surface of young wheat plants.

    Abstract: A method for switching audio reception in a video conference and a video conferencing system are provided. In a case of starting the video conference, relative positions of participants in a conference space and behavioral events of participants are obtained by identifying a video signal. Based on the behavioral event of each participant, whether each participant is in a non-speaking behavior is determined. When a participant is determined to be a non-speaker in the non-speaking behavior, an audio reception range of an audio reception device is adjusted to filter a voice of the non-speaker based on the relative position of the non-speaker in the conference space. When a participant is determined to be a speaker not in the non-speaking behavior, the audio reception range of the audio reception device is adjusted to receive a voice of the speaker based on the relative position of the speaker in the conference space.

Such methods may include extracting spermidine from the rice germ with a first solvent; filtering the extraction solution; concentrating the filtrate to obtain coarse extract; optionally mixing the coarse extract with citric acid; extracting with a second solvent; filtering the second extraction solution to remove insoluble matter, and concentrating the filtrate to obtain a rice germ extract. Such methods may produce an extract having a spermidine content of about 1% to about 5% and a total extraction yield of about 80% or more. Compositions of the spermidine extract obtained from the methods are also provided.

The top surface of the silicon layer is etched by the ion bombardment etching process to become a post-etching top surface, and a distance between a topmost portion of the post-etching top surface and a bottommost portion of the post-etching top surface in a vertical direction is less than a distance between a topmost portion of the bump portion and the lower portion in the vertical direction before the ion bombardment etching process. Subsequently, a chemical mechanical polishing process is performed to the post-etching top surface of the silicon layer.
