    Abstract: The embodiments of the application provide a communication method and a communication device. The communication method comprises: determine the first time-frequency resource in a shared resource pool using the first resource allocation mode, send direct link data on the first time-frequency resource, and when no acknowledgment feedback for the direct link data is received, retransmit the direct link data using the first resource allocation mode and record the number of retransmissions. When the number of retransmissions reaches the first preset threshold, send the direct link data on the second time-frequency resource. Therefore, the embodiments of the application can help reduce the probability of conflicts or collisions between the terminal device and other terminal devices in time-frequency resources and are beneficial for improving the data transmission performance of terminal devices.
