  • Publication number: 20250106885
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a first service associated with a first subscriber identification module (SIM), the first service having a first priority. The UE may identify at least one re-prioritization condition that is satisfied, wherein the at least one re-prioritization condition is associated with at least one of the first service or a second service associated with a second SIM, the second service having a second priority that is lower than the first priority. The UE may adjust, based at least in part on the at least one re-prioritization condition being satisfied, the second priority, wherein the adjusted second priority is higher than the first priority. The UE may perform a communication corresponding to the second service based at least in part on the adjusted second priority. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 12238036
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) determine that at least one packet of a set of packets for a downlink message is unsuccessfully received at a radio link control (RLC) layer of the UE due to a specific situation of a set of specific situations and may transmit the NACK message based on the missing packet (s) on an as needed basis rather than waiting for a timer to expire (e.g., a fast NACK mechanism). In some examples, the specific situations may include the UE missing packets after a measurement gap, missing packets based on wake up latencies for a discontinuous reception mode of the UE, missing packets due to interference from reference signals transmitted by neighboring cells, missing packets due to the UE not decoding retransmissions that have a same redundancy version (RV) of a downlink message, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20250063511
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network node may transmit a first message using a first transmit power based on a first set of values corresponding to a set of power control parameters. The set of power control parameters may include an accumulated transmit power control parameter. The network node may receive a second message including information indicative of at least one of a second set of values corresponding to the set of power control parameters. The network node may transmit a third message using a second transmit power based on a value corresponding to the accumulated transmit power control parameter. The value may correspond to the accumulated transmit power control parameter, which may be based on a first difference between one or more of the first set of values from before the second message and one or more of the second set of values.

  • Publication number: 20240389107
Abstract: A first network node (e.g., a UE) may receive, from a second BS network node (e.g., a base station), DCI. The first network node may perform, based on the DCI, a BWP switch from a first BWP to a second BWP. The first network node may perform, after the BWP switch, a BWP switch failure detection procedure that results in a first determination or a second determination. The first determination may be indicative that the BWP switch was successful and the second determination may be indicative that the BWP switch was not successful. To perform the BWP switch failure detection procedure, the first network node may determine whether one or more failure conditions are satisfied. The one or more failure conditions may include at least one of a BLER greater than a threshold, occurrence of one or more tune away events, or non-receipt of an uplink grant on the second BWP.

  • Patent number: 12143858
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for dual connectivity with a split bearer configuration may transmit uplink data packets to one or both a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary cell group (SCG). The UE may transmit an uplink transmission from a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity over one or both of a first radio link control (RLC) entity associated with the MCG and a second RLC entity associated with the SCG. The configuration including a transmit buffer threshold. The UE may receive, at the PDCP entity, an uplink switch start indication. The UE may activate the second RLC entity in response to receiving the uplink switch start indication. The UE may transmit a buffer status report according to a current transmit buffer level plus the transmit buffer threshold. Accordingly, the UE may communicate with the SCG based on the uplink switch start indication.

  • Publication number: 20240267189
Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing a MSIM UE to transmit a controlled pattern of fake HARQ-ACK and a controlled RLC status report in response to un-decoded data transmissions from a base station, while suspending SRS antenna switching during performance of an activity in a different network subscription, in order to relieve MCS penalties in response to such suspension while minimizing RLC holes. The UE sends a plurality of SRSs to a base station in a first network using a first SIM of the UE, where each of the SRSs is sent using a different antenna. The UE suspends SRS transmission from the different antennas while performing an activity in a second network using a second SIM of the UE. The UE sends a HARQ-ACK to the base station while the SRS transmission is suspended in response to at least one of a plurality of un-decoded data transmissions from the base station.

  • Publication number: 20240080901
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with two subscriber identity modules (SIMs). The UE may select a synchronization beam associated with a random access occasion of a first SIM based on the random access occasion not overlapping in time with a reception opportunity (e.g., a paging occasion) of the second SIM. In some examples, the UE may select the synchronization beam based on an identified signal quality of the synchronization beam (e.g., in comparison to other available synchronization beams that are non-overlapping with the reception opportunity). The UE may perform a random access procedure (e.g., using the first SIM) during the random access occasion associated with the selected synchronization beam and, in some cases, may also monitor (e.g., using the second SIM) resources associated with the paging opportunity.

  • Publication number: 20240049095
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) using information identified via radio access technology (RAT) (e.g., Long Term Evolution (LTE)) to support communications in another RAT (e.g., New Radio (NR)). For example, the UE may receive, from a first base station operating according to a first radio access technology an indication of a high speed associated with a first wireless connection of the UE with the first base station. The UE may perform a channel estimation procedure for the first wireless connection to generate a Doppler value based on receiving the indication. The UE may apply the generated Doppler value to a frequency tracking loop or a time tracking loop for communications with a second base station via a second wireless connection, wherein the second base station is operating according to a second RAT.
