    Abstract: Images are optimized to reduce latency prior to being transmitted to requesting client devices. A request from a client device for an image is analyzed to obtain the attributes of the requesting client device and the network used by the client device for transmitting the request. The parameters of the image to be transmitted are determined based on the attributes in order to reduce data latency at the requesting client device. A requested image that meets the parameters or which has its parameters preset by a provider can be transmitted without any changes. A requested image that does not meet the parameters is transformed in accordance with the parameters so that it is optimized for the combination of the network and the requesting client device.

    Abstract: A method for processing user equipment (UE) connection under a mixed mode and a femtocell system are provided. The method for processing UE connection is used in a femtocell for processing the connection of a UE. The method includes the following steps. A connection request is received from a low priority UE under a mixed mode. Whether the measurement results corresponding to the femtocell satisfy threshold settings is determined in response to the connection request, wherein the measurement results include a path loss corresponding to the femtocell. If the measurement results satisfy the threshold settings, then the low priority UE is allowed to be connected to the femtocell. In one embodiment, suitable resource allocation, such as the allocation of power and code resource, is provided after the low priority UE is connected to the femtocell under the mixed mode.

The sending device is configured to receive adjacent camera views and encode the adjacent camera views independently into video streams. The sending device performs an image analysis on the adjacent camera views in order to generate a projection matrix to relate the adjacent camera views. The projection matrix and the encoded video streams are sent to at least one receiver. The receiver is configured to receive the encoded video streams and the projection matrix relating the encoded video streams. The receiver calculates an aggregate video stream using the projection matrix. The aggregate video stream includes portions of at least two of the encoded video streams. Other receivers may receive the same encoded video streams and generate a different aggregate video stream having a varying size, resolution, or number of views.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and a system for transmitting wireless data streams. After a user equipment sends a packet data protocol context activation request signaling to a base station, the base station checks whether the user equipment is allowed to activate a local Internet protocol access (LIPA) function. If the base station decides that the user equipment is allowed to activate the LIPA function, the base station instructs a core network to execute authentication accordingly. The base station disconnects a signaling connection between the base station and the core network. The base station assigns a private IP address to the user equipment, so that the user equipment having the private IP address performs the LIPA function and is directly connected to an external network through the base station without going through the core network, and a data transmission is performed between the base station and the user equipment.

It is determined whether a spreading factor required by a service request is greater than a remaining capacity of assignable spreading factors of a code tree. During the searching, when a searched node is unassigned, the searching continues leftward in a lower layer; and when the searched node is in an assigned state, the searching continues rightward in a same layer of the searched node. If available, an assignable code is assigned to a communication service corresponding to the service request.
