Abstract: The invention relates to an electric toothbrush handle and an electric toothbrush. The electric toothbrush handle comprises: a shell, in the inner cavity of which at least one light emitting element is arranged; and a shading part, comprising a light transmission plate arranged on the periphery of the at least one light emitting element, and a first coating arranged on the outer surface and/or the inner surface of the light transmission plate; wherein a light transmission area in a set shape is formed at a position corresponding to each light emitting element in the first coating; and the light of the light emitting element is capable of penetrating through the light transmission area so that the shape of the light transmission area is visible via the shell. The electric toothbrush handle can avoid damage and even failure of a display mark due to wear thereof.
