The method for routing and forwarding includes: receiving a content request packet, where the content request packet carries a content name of requested content and container information of the requested content; determining whether any forwarding entry that matches the content name of the requested content exists in a FIB; determining whether any forwarding entry that matches the container identifier in the container information exists in the FIB when no forwarding entry that matches the content name of the requested content exists in the FIB; and when a forwarding entry that matches the container identifier in the container information of the requested content exists in the FIB, sending the content request packet according to a port in the matched forwarding entry.

Abstract: A method is provided for content subscription in content network. A content requesting node in the content network receives a first interest packet comprising a content identifier through a first port from a first user device, creates a subscription entry comprising the content identifier and an identifier of the first port, sends the first interest packet to the content providing node, receives a second interest packet through a second port from a second user device; adds an identifier of the second port to the subscription entry, receives multiple data packets provided by the content providing node according to the first interest packet, and sends the multiple data packets through the first port and the second port respectively to the first user device and the second user device according to the subscription entry.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method, equipment and system for forwarding packets in an Information Centric Network (ICN). The method includes: content request packets sent by a first route node in a Virtual Private Network (VPN) are received by a first route node in a public network; the content request packets carry the content name of the request content and the private identification for identifying the request content as the private content; the container identification of the first container for storing the request content is obtained; the content request packets are forwarded according to the container identification of the first container so as to forward the content request packets to a second route node in the VPN, and the content response packets carrying the request content are returned according to the content name of the request content.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a container name server and a method for container name resolution. The container name server includes: a network interface configured to receive a resolution request packet sent by a network node, where the resolution request packet includes a container identification of a container to be resolved; and an execution engine configured to acquire a container identification of an access container of the container to be resolved according to the container identification of the container to be resolved. In embodiments of the present invention, possibilities for solving problems such as scalability and mobility support caused by routing based completely on a content name are provided by introducing a container name server and taking the container name server as a name resolution system in an ICN network.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a data source movement processing method, a packet forwarding method, and an apparatus thereof, which are applied to an information centric network (ICN). The data source movement processing method includes: when a target container from a first container enters a second container, registering a route of the target container in the second container; communicating with a resolution system, so that the resolution system updates an access container of the target container from the first container to the second container. In the data source movement processing method according to the embodiment of the present invention, a data source movement is supported without introducing frequent and cumbersome route updates and without changing a content name of content, thereby maintaining persistence of the content name, enhancing feasibility of an ICN architecture, and improving user experience.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to distributed network communications, and in particular, to a distributed network construction method and apparatus, a distributed data storage method and apparatus, and a distributed network system. When a node joins a distributed network, the ID of the node is determined according to the geographic location information about the node. Therefore, all the nodes in the same area belong to the same ID range, and the node IDs are allocated according to the area. Because the node IDs are determined according to the area, the local data may be stored in the node in the area according to the geographic information, inter-area data access is reduced. Therefore, the method, the apparatus, and the system provided herein reduce the data load on the backbone network, balance the data traffic and the bandwidth overhead of the entire network, and reduce the network instability.

Through the method, if one or more of the multiple home function entities is in failure, other home function entities may take over work of the function entities in failure, which ensures the continuity of data flows of services and prevents the services from being interrupted, greatly improves reliability and load balancing ability of end-to-end QoS architecture. Furthermore. There is no limitation on network architecture and the method is applicable to networks with any scales.

Abstract: A method for resource admission control process, an Access-Resource and Admission Control Function entity and a Service-based Policy Decision Function entity, wherein the method includes: sending an Admission Request message, which carries the current media stream address information, to an Access-Resource and Admission Control Function entity (A-RACF) in an originating home network from a Service-based Policy Decision Function entity (SPDF) when the SPDF successfully configures an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) connection for a Core Border Gateway Function entity (C-BGF) in the originating home network; and performing a resource admission control process for a corresponding media stream by the A-RACF according to the received Admission Request message. With the method of the present invention, the resource admission control process performed by the A-RACF on the media stream may become meaningful.

In addition, the present invention discloses six methods for selecting a real-time service data transmission path based on different strategies.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for providing reliable transmission Quality of Service (QoS) in communication network, in which a QoS connection is established between bearer network resource managers in bearer network control layer, and maintenance management mechanism is well established in terms of the QoS connection. Various QoS resource control messages can be carried through this established QoS connection, so that request of service bandwidth application of the user and the result thereof, as well as the path information allocated by bearer network resource managers can be transferred. The disclosed method is reliable and easy to implement and maintain, with good controlled quality, and can implement resource synchronization between bearer network resource managers. Therefore, implementation of the disclosed method makes it more convenient to manage resources of bearer network uniformly, and provides technical support on guaranteeing transmission reliability of important services.

Abstract: A method for guaranteeing service reliability in an end-to-end Quality of Service framework is provided. The method includes checking whether connection information held in all node equipment gone through by a session connection is consistent. If the connection information is consistent, the consistency check is completed. Otherwise, the inconsistent connection information is released from the node equipment. In the provided method, a consistency check is performed inside every node equipment, and between node equipment in the network, and thus, abnormal resources may be retrieved, so that network service ability will not be affected by abnormal situations. Consistent with the provided method, degradation of service ability because of network abnormity can be avoided, and network reliability and availability can be improved.
