The backlight module is divided into a plurality of light-emitting areas, each of the light-emitting areas including a plurality of lines of point sources, and the driving device includes a controller and a driving component, the driving component is connected to the controller and is configured to output a time series of voltage signal to the controller, and the controller is connected to all the plurality of lines of point sources in each of the light-emitting areas and is configured to drive the lines of point sources in the light-emitting area to emit light respectively at different periods based on the time series of voltage signal.
