Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: a first network element in a first network receives, from a terminal device, a message used to request to establish a session, obtains first tunnel information and second tunnel information that correspond to the session, sends the first tunnel information to an access network device accessed by the terminal device, and sends the second tunnel information to a third network element in a second network. The terminal device is located in a service area of the second network, an operator to which the terminal device belongs is the same as an operator to which the first network belongs, the second network provides a service for a terminal device of one or more operators, the access network device is directly connected to the second network element, and the third network element is configured to control the second network element.

Abstract: A first location management network element receives first positioning request information from an access management network element, where the first positioning request information includes an identifier of a gateway mobile location center network element that requests location information, and the location information is a location of a terminal device. The first location management network element determines, based on the identifier of the gateway mobile location center network element that requests the location information, whether to allow a positioning request from the gateway mobile location center network element that requests the location information. The first location management network element sends first positioning request response information to the access management network element, where the first positioning request response information is used to notify the access management network element whether the positioning request for the terminal device is allowed.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a processor and a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to insert an uplink classifier user plane function network element at a home location. The uplink classifier user plane function network element is configured to offload a service flow of a terminal device. The apparatus is also caused to, in response to determining the terminal device moved to a visited location, send an address of the uplink classifier user plane function network element to an intermediate user plane function network element at the visited location to establish a tunnel between the intermediate user plane function network element and the uplink classifier user plane function network element.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for redirecting data by using a service proxy, including: forwarding, according to a data storage path carried in a received first data request message sent by a client, the first data request message to a data server; receiving a redirection response message sent by the data server, where the redirection response message carries a new path for storing requested data; sending, according to the new path for storing the requested data, a second data request message to a data server that is indicated by the new path; receiving data that is requested by the client and is sent by the data server that is indicated by the new path, and sending the requested data to the client. According to the method data acquiring efficiency is improved and a network delay is reduced.
