  • Patent number: 10669970
Abstract: A thrust reverser system includes two thrust reversal cascades, of which the first cascade is entrained by an actuator, and which are configured to adopt a retracted position in which they are housed in a space located outside the duct. The action of the actuator brings about: rearward displacement of the first cascade in the direction of a nacelle opening; and during part of the rearward displacement of the second cascade, simultaneous pivoting of this second cascade under the action of a control lever, the interaction of which with a fixed guide rail forces the front end of the lever to move radially inwards while the lever is entrained rearwards by the second cascade.

  • Publication number: 20200080513
Abstract: A turbofan including a motor, nacelle and a secondary duct therebetween. The nacelle includes a fan casing with front and rear parts, a fixed assembly including a fixed structure and the front part, a mobile assembly with an openwork frame, a mobile cowl and the rear part and mobile between advanced and retracted positions in which a window is open between the secondary duct and the exterior of the nacelle, inner doors articulated between stowed and deployed positions, a first actuator for moving the frame and a second actuator for moving each inner door. The rear part is divided into outer flaps mobile between lowered and raised positions and is moved by an electric motor. A jet engine accordingly serves to increase retraction distance by freeing up part of the fan cowl and improve orientation of flow of air passing through the window by orienting the outer flaps.

  • Publication number: 20190178206
Abstract: A engine comprising a fan casing and a nacelle, the nacelle comprising a fixed structure and a thrust reversing system having a mobile assembly with a mobile cowl and a frame. The mobile assembly is translationally mobile on the fixed structure between an advanced position and a retracted position to define a window between the secondary jet and the outside of the nacelle. Inner and outer doors are mounted articulated between a stowed position and a deployed position. For each pair of doors, a runner is translationally mobile between a first and a second position. The switching from the stowed position to the deployed position of each door is mechanically associated with the switching of the runner from the first position to the second position and vice versa. • Publication number: 20180346138
Abstract: A propulsion system comprising a pylon, a turbomachine with a core and a nacelle. The nacelle comprises two inner cowls and two outer cowls around the inner cowls, where each outer cowl is mounted articulated via hinges and is mobile between a closed position in which the outer cowl is tightened around the core and an open position in which the outer cowl is separated from the core. Furthermore, each inner cowl is mounted articulated on the pylon via fixed hinges and is mobile between a closed position in which the inner cowl is tightened around the core and an open position in which the inner cowl is separated from the core. The placement of the hinges between the pylon and each inner cowl makes it possible to separate the rotation of the inner cowl from the rotation of the associated outer cowl.
