  • Patent number: 10645555
Abstract: A method for receiving a broadcast signal by an access network to a plurality of terminals of a two-way wireless communication system. An information signal is formed from the broadcast information destined for the terminals. A pilot signal is formed and a broadcast signal including the information signal SI1 and the pilot signal is transmitted. The information signal and the pilot signal are transmitted on different respective central frequencies having a predefined frequency gap.

  • Patent number: 10555289
Abstract: A method for transmitting, by a terminal of a wireless communication system, uplink messages on an uplink to an access network. A sequence of NR uplink messages is formed. Each uplink message of the sequence includes a same useful data packet and control data having an identifier for identifying the uplink message from the NR uplink messages of the sequence. The uplink messages of the sequence are transmitted on different respective center frequencies. Also, a method for transmitting, by the access network, a downlink message in response to the sequence of uplink messages, on a center frequency determined from the measured center frequencies of the uplink messages of the sequence.

  • Patent number: 10492171
Abstract: A method for transmitting broadcast signals from a group of base stations to terminals of a wireless communication system. Each base station having a coverage area. The coverage areas of the base stations of the group are distributed geographically such as to serve a geographical area. Since the broadcast signals are of limited duration and are transmitted in a frequency band used by all of the base stations of the group, the base stations of the group are time-synchronized in relation to one another. The broadcast signals from the base stations of the group are time-multiplexed. In addition, the wireless communication system has multiple geographical regions. Each region includes multiple groups of base stations), and the broadcast signals of different geographical regions are time-multiplexed.

  • Patent number: 10333665
Abstract: A wireless communication method between a plurality of terminals and an access network. The access network is configured to transmit downlink messages on a downlink in reply to uplink messages transmitted by the terminals. The access network includes a plurality of half-duplex base stations. Each terminal waiting for a downlink message in reply to a transmitted uplink message is configured to listen to the downlink in a listening window, the duration of which is at least five times that of the downlink message. The method includes the steps of determining if listening windows of terminals overlap. When an overlap allows the transmission of several downlink messages by a single base station, the downlink messages are transmitted grouped together in a single transmission window of the base station.

  • Patent number: 10314027
Abstract: A method for transmitting a downlink message on a downlink between an access network and a plurality of terminals. The downlink message includes main data to be transmitted to a receiving terminal. Error detection data is generated from the main data. Main data and/or error-detection data are modified on the basis of an identifier of the receiving terminal, using a predefined reversible modification function. The modification is performed at a constant spectral width and for a constant duration with respect to the aforementioned main data and/or error-detection data. A downlink message including the main data and the error-detection data obtained after modification are transmitted. Also, a method for receiving the downlink messages.
