Abstract: A method and system for correcting alignment of images received from cameras by estimating camera alignment parameters based on perturbative correction such that corrected alignment parameters satisfy pairwise epipolar constraints as well as global loop closure constraints. The corrected alignment parameters are estimated as a Least-Mean-Square solution to a system of linear equations and an estimation algorithm may be implemented as a part of a Random Sample Consensus criterion estimation for improved robustness. The method and system is fast and efficient and may be implemented in a real-time system.

Abstract: Services development/deployment for backend system integration includes metadata-based identification of assets of a backend system, and building metadata specifications as available constructs from which to develop services for deployment, each metadata specification corresponding to a given backend asset that uses a first data format and defining translations between the first data format and a second data format that is agnostic to selected service endpoints and endpoint deployment architecture(s) to provide agnostic development of the services, providing a development interface to a user, and obtaining a user-defined flow as a generic definition of a service agnostic to any specific service endpoint and endpoint deployment architecture on which the service is to be deployed.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for aiding an operator in operating a vehicle. In one embodiment, a system includes a sensor system configured to generate sensor data sensed from an environment of the vehicle. The system further includes a control module configured to, by a processor, determine a scene of the environment based on the sensor data, memorize a shape of at least one feature in the scene, modify video data based on the memorized shape, and present the modified video data for display to the operator.

Abstract: A system for processing images includes a receiving module configured to receive a plurality of images generated by one or more imaging devices, the plurality of images including a first image taken from a first location and orientation, and a second image taken from a second location and orientation. The system also includes an image analysis module configured to generate a composite image on a target image surface based on at least the first image and the second image. The image analysis module is configured to perform steps that include selecting a planar intermediate image surface, projecting the first image and the second image onto the intermediate image surface, combining the projected first image and the projected second image at the intermediate image surface to generate an intermediate image, and projecting the intermediate image onto the target image surface to generate the composite image.
