Abstract: A mobile computing device based expense capture and reporting system is provided. A mobile expense capture application is an integral part of a networked expense management service such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) service. A user interface enables users to enter expense related information and accept/reject/edit prompted values for various entries. Upon completion of the entries, the information is transmitted to the networked service and/or stored locally. At least a portion of the information is automatically provided based on a location and/or action of the user. Furthermore, the mobile computing device is capable of capturing an expense document and retrieving at least some of the expense information from the captured document.

Abstract: User input can be received at a client computing device. The user input can request one or more contacts for a user profile in a work tracking system that is remote from the client computing device. In response to the user input, information on one or more user profile contacts associated with the user profile in the work tracking system can be retrieved. At least one of the user profile contact(s) can be linked with one or more corresponding existing contacts in the client computing device. Work unit information (such as time information) that is associated with one of the user profile contact(s) can be captured in the client computing device and reported to the work tracking system over a computer network.

Abstract: A graphical user interface and method of use thereof that allows users to interact with an entity relationship model. The user interface includes zones that allow users to navigate among the entities, roles and fields to create queries that are run against the model. Clicking on an entity in the shows the available fields for the entity. Users can drag and drop entities and fields onto a design surface to quickly and easily build queries. Rules are applied when either an entity or a field is dropped onto the design surface based upon the item being dropped (either an entity or a field), the position of the drop and also the properties that are associated with the item. Entities may be grouped and filtered to sort and limit the results of the query. After query is run, the results may be displayed in a separate area to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing data updates to a vehicle component (such as a navigation database on an aircraft) make use of a system server, a vehicle server, and an administrative program. The system server is configured to receive and store said data updates from a source. The vehicle server obtains data updates from the system server and loads the data updates into the appropriate component. In various embodiments, the aircraft server sends a verification message to the system server to indicate success or failure of the load operation. An administrative program may be configured to direct the system server to provide said data updates to the vehicle server in accordance with pre-determined rules, and a database may be used to maintain information about data upgrades for various vehicles.
