  • Patent number: 9355388
Abstract: Assignment scheduling for service projects, in one aspect, may comprise preparing input parameter data for servicing a client service request; generating a schedule for servicing the client service request by executing an optimization algorithm with the input parameter data; determining whether the schedule is acceptable by the client; and repeating automatically the preparing, the generating, the transmitting and the determining until it is determined that the schedule is acceptable by the client, wherein each iteration automatically prepares different input parameter data for inputting to the optimization algorithm and generates a different schedule based on the different input parameter data.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7168129
Abstract: A surface cleaning device used with a vacuum cleaner nozzle inlet to clean a selected surface profile, includes a housing with a surrounding sidewall defining a housing interior. A divider is disposed within the housing interior, to separate into a first and second housing interior. The surrounding sidewall terminates in a first opening communicating between the first housing interior and an exterior environment and a second opening communicating between the second housing interior and the exterior environment. The first and second openings are approximately matched in profile to respective selected surface profiles to clean. A divider aperture collar is adjacent to the divider forming a fluid communication between the first and second housing interiors. The divider aperture collar is removably engagable to the nozzle to create a substantially fluid tight communication selectively between either the first housing interior and the nozzle or the second housing interior and the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5427549
Abstract: An electrical cable and organizer assembly (10) with an improved latch (50) is disclosed. The connector (20) includes contacts (16, 18) that are terminated to the conductors (22) of the cable (14), and a connector housing (20) that is overmolded so that it surrounds the entire end (30) of the cable and the leads of the contacts (16, 18). A plurality of these cables (14) and attached connectors (20) are arranged within side by side cavities (80) in an organizer (12) and releasable latched in place. The latch (50), a separate part attached to each connector, includes a convex surface ( 62 ) that latchingly engages an opening ( 90 ) in the top wall of the organizer. By depressing the convex surface (62) of the latch member (50) the cable and associated connector are released and can be removed from the organizer (12). The latch member includes an elastic beam (56) that allows sufficient deflection to release the latch while maintaining the beam within its elastic limit.
