  • Patent number: 11805467
Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing distributed content to a mobile device (e.g., in a mobile vehicle) through multiple content access points along a particular route are presented. In some embodiments, a computing device may receive a selection of media content and a selection of a particular route from a plurality of routes to enable navigation of a mobile vehicle from a start point to an end point calculated based on at least a number of content access points along each route. A computing device may divide the media content into a plurality of segments and send each segment to a respective planned content access point of a plurality of planned content access points along the particular route. In some embodiments, a mobile computing device within a mobile vehicle may receive a segment from each planned content access point to enable continuous uninterrupted playback of the media content.

  • Patent number: 10109671
Abstract: There is provided an avalanche photodiode array that includes a plurality of avalanche photodiodes. Each avalanche photodiode in the array includes a stack of active photodiode materials. The stack of active photodiode materials includes a first electrical contact layer, a second electrical contact layer; an absorber material layer and an avalanche material layer each disposed between the first electrical contact layer and the second electrical contact layer; and an optical interface surface to the avalanche photodiode. The optical interface surface consists of an exposed surface of the first electrical contact layer, arranged for incident external radiation to directly enter the first electrical contact layer. Each avalanche photodiode stack of active photodiode materials is laterally isolated from the other avalanche photodiodes in the photodiode array.

  • Publication number: 20070240617
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pigment and a coating composition comprising such a pigment, wherein it is contemplated that a coating composition containing such pigment is capable of inhibiting corrosion of a substrate to which it is applied. In one embodiment, the pigment comprises a filler having calcium borate, calcium molybdate, and calcium phosphate deposited on the surface of the filler. In an exemplary embodiment, the filler is calcium carbonate.
