  • Publication number: 20070066446
Abstract: A collapsible umbrella gym for an infant or toddler which is highly portable, and combines the desirable attributes of an activity arch and support mat such as an activity mat. The gym comprises a frame assembly which is selectively movable between collapsed and uncollapsed states. • Publication number: 20050287909
Abstract: Provided is an infant mobile comprising a base housing, an axially rotatable main drive shaft, a bug body, a bug head and four wings. The main drive shaft extends outwardly from the base housing. The bug body is mounted on an end of the drive shaft. A set of four wing shafts extend laterally outwardly from the bug body. The bug head is connected to the bug body with the bug head and bug body each having a generally bulbous shape. Each one of the wing shafts has one of the wings mounted on a free end thereof. The wings are generally disc-shaped and may include a ribbon mounted on an outer perimeter. The wing shafts are mechanically coupled to the main drive shaft in a manner wherein rotational motion of the main drive shaft is imparted in equal proportion to the wing shafts such that the wings rotate in unison.

  • Patent number: 6645031
Abstract: A children's playboard of the type comprising a backing having a front surface of a cloth material for adhering figurines thereto and a back surface is disclosed. The children's playboard has a support structure. The support structure is fixedly attached to the playboard and has a pair of spaced bracing members and a pair of connection plates. Each bracing member has a first leg that is detachably joined to one of the pair of connection plates along a hinge. The bracing members are extendable at an angle from the playboard. The bracing members have a second leg and a third leg that are joined at an apex portion. The second leg having a greater length than the third leg. The apex is located between the second and third legs and provides support for the bracing members against a base surface wherein the backing member can be supported in at least two different angles to the base surface.

  • Patent number: 5779552
Abstract: An illusory liquid apparatus is disclosed which provides the illusion of an item appearing and disappearing. An illusory item is suspended in a translucent or opaque fluid, and raised and lowered to alternatively be visible at the top of the fluid, and hidden under the surface of the fluid. Also disclosed is a new means for moving the illusory item by means of magnetic attraction. A magnetic attractor is placed in the illusory item, and magnetic attraction is used to raise and lower the illusory item. Alternatively, liquid may be moved to alternatively cover a fixed illusory item and then reveal it, or a mechanical linkage used to raise and lower the illusory item in the liquid. A new configuration for an illusory liquid apparatus is also disclosed in which the completely sealed outer body and inner vessel of the illusory liquid apparatus avoids the use of complex mechanical linkages.
