  • Publication number: 20240091413
Abstract: Methods for viscosupplementation in a joint or surgical site of a human or animal subject are disclosed along with unique materials for achieving such beneficial outcomes. The methods generally comprise introducing into the joint or surgical site a plurality of porous viscoelastic solid hydrogel microparticles having a size of greater than about 30 pm, and substantially free of any cells, tissue, or therapeutic compounds. Kits for viscosupplementation in a joint or surgical site of a human or animal subject are also disclosed. The kits comprise the plurality of porous viscoelastic solid hydrogel microparticles having a size of greater than about 30 pm, and substantially free of any cells, tissue, or therapeutic compounds, and instructions for administering the same.

  • Patent number: 11902309
Abstract: Historical time-series data can be analyzed using a probabilistic model to determine one or more distributions, including at least a normal distribution and an anomaly distribution. These distributions can be analyzed to obtain values for distribution parameters, such as mean, standard deviation, and density, as well as other statistical parameters, for use in building a forecasting model. This model can analyze the time-series data to predict or forecast actionable anomalies at one or more future points or periods in time, such as may exceed a determined anomaly threshold with at least a minimum amount of confidence. A determination can be made as to one or more actions to take in anticipation of the anomalous event, or volume of events, such as to attempt to prevent the occurrence or to be better positioned to handle the occurrence. Such forecasting or prediction can utilize both modeling and feature engineering.

  • Publication number: 20230417099
Abstract: A securable pet door is disclosed. The securable pet door may comprise at least one door, at least one knob, one or more windows, at least one frame, and/or at least one hinge. The knob may comprise a latch for secure closing. When the pet door comprises at least one hinge, the hinge(s) may be inserted into at least one hinge recess so that the door may be securely locked via at least one locking mechanism. The different elements of the securable pet door are configured to be oriented in a predetermined, securable, or customizable manner. The door is configured to open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to the frame(s).
