  • Patent number: 7465790
Abstract: A pharmaceutical comprising a therapeutic protein that binds to a therapeutic target, the protein being modified with a compound that inhibits binding of the protein to the therapeutic target, the modified protein being effective for reducing an immune response against the protein and for producing a therapeutic effect by binding to the therapeutic target. The therapeutic protein may be an antibody that includes an antibody combining site that binds to the therapeutic target.

  • Publication number: 20060235625
Abstract: In one aspect, the invention provides methods for determining the contributions of canid populations to a canid genome. The methods comprise the steps of: (a) obtaining the identity of one or both alleles in a test canid genome for each of a set of markers; and (b) determining the contributions of canid populations to the test canid genome by comparing the alleles in the test canid genome to a database comprising canid population profiles, wherein each canid population profile comprises genotype information for the set of markers in the canid populations.

  • Publication number: 20040158522
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed enabling a customer payor to make payment to a payee in a networked environment using a credit card, revolving credit, or other credit account. The payment system may provide for online receipt and review of bills, and may allow a customer payor to optionally select one or more alternative secondary accounts for payment in the event that payment cannot be made from a primary credit account. The secondary account may be another credit account, a checking account, a brokerage account, or another type of account. Actual payment may be accomplished by electronic settlement of a credit transaction, electronic funds transfer, or by printing and physically delivering a paper check.
