    Abstract: In one aspect, the invention provides a hair clasp comprising a substrate made of a flexible material capable of going from a concave position to a convex position by the application of slight force, such as by press of fingers. The substrate has an inner portion that comes in contact with hair and an outer portion that is exposed. The hair clasp comprises at least one set of teeth having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is attached to the substrate. The flexible material used as the substrate may be any rubbery material such as natural rubber, neoprene, silicone, and the like. The hair clasp may further include decorative items such as bows, colored cloths, and the like, on the outer portion of the substrate.

The shaping members may be used to shape and place the user's hair into one of a variety of styles, thus reducing the need for multiple hair accessories. The user may position the shaping members in the hair to achieve a desired hair style and the shaping members may include decorative features. The hair accessory may optionally include a band as a base for encircling a portion of the user's hair. Multiple decorative features of varying lengths may be used and the hair accessory may optionally be utilized to shape or contain a pony tail.

Additionally, a method of spraying a liquid is disclosed. The method generates a gas-flow by using a paint sprayer system, and then introduces paint into the gas-flow such that an atomized spray is created at the intersection of the gas-flow and the paint.

The shape is formed such that the two ends of the flat strip join when in a closed position. The interior of the barrette is provided with a row of teeth in order to grip the hair and prevent it from slipping through the barrette.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to hair barrettes. More specifically, hair barrettes with removable clasps. The removable clasps may be attached to the barrette by a variety of different structure, including direct attachment and attachment through an intermediate universal adapter. The universal adapter allows the clasp to remain in the hair while simultaneously exchanging the ornamental component of the hair barrette. Furthermore, the universal adapter allows interchange of parts such that any size clasp may be used with any of the receiving ornamental components.
