  • Patent number: 11015146
Abstract: The invention includes ware detergent compositions which prevent buildup of precipitates and also surprisingly provides significant metal protection of items exposed to alkaline detergent composition. According to the invention alkaline ware detergents may include an effective amount of amino carboxylate. Surprisingly, detergents which included amino carboxylate also provided significant metal protection against corrosion, even when traditional corrosion inhibiting components are reduced.

  • Patent number: 10457902
Abstract: A solidification matrix includes sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, a water charge, an anhydrous metasilicate, a polycarboxylic acid polymer or salt or derivative thereof, and additional functional ingredients. The sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, a water charge, an anhydrous metasilicate, a polycarboxylic acid polymer, and additional functional ingredients interact to form a hydrate solid. The solidification matrix may be used, for example, in a solid detergent composition. Methods of making solid detergent compositions are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9090857
Abstract: Stability enhancement agents for use in a solidification matrices and solid detergent compositions are described. Stability enhancement is provided by a hydratable salt, water and phosphonocarboxylic acid copolymers or phosphonopolyacrylic acid homopolymers binding agents forming a dimensionally stable composition. Preferred phosphonocarboxylic acid copolymers or phosphonopolyacrylic acid homopolymers have phosphono end groups and a molecular weight of between about 1,000 and about 30,000 grams/mole. The stability enhancement composition for use in a solid detergent and solid detergent compositions are preferably biodegradable and substantially free of phosphorus and NTA-free.
