  • Publication number: 20240359113
Abstract: The present invention relates to a spray dried plasma composition having one or more of the following characteristics: when reconstituted, largely amorphous and has no cholesterol crystals; when reconstituted, the number of large particulates is reduced; has low residual moisture; reconstitutes rapidly in under four minutes; highly stable when stored under refrigeration, at room temperature or at elevated temperatures and allows for storage for longer periods of time; when reconstituted, exhibits recovery of the most fragile of proteins, including von Willebrand's factor; when reconstituted with Sterile Water for Injection (SWFI), reconstituted plasma is at a pH that is near normal plasma pH, and does so without treatment or storage in CO2 or other pH adjustment; and when reconstituted, has reduced complement activation (C5A, C3A).

  • Publication number: 20240264921
Abstract: A system receives incoming electronic data request messages. A match engine of the system attempts to match requests within the electronic data request messages and the time taken to perform the computations to attempt to match the requests is correlated to the processing capacity of the system. To prevent or slow formation of performance expectations, an obfuscation delay is applied to a selected outgoing electronic data message associated with at least one of the requests to reduce the correlation between the apparent time taken to perform the computations based on a timing indication in outgoing messages reporting result of an attempted match for a request and the processing capacity of the system.

  • Patent number: 7654023
Abstract: A display for displaying an image to a viewer, capable of highlighting specific locations selected by a user. This display comprises: a) a punchable layer such as a foam board having a first surface and a second surface, b) an image affixed to the first surface of the punchable layer. The punchable layer and the image form a sandwich dubbed display cover which is partially transparent and is observed by a viewer located on the image side of the display cover, c) a light source illuminating the second surface of the punchable layer, d) a piercing means for enabling the user to punch at least one hole into the punchable layer, and e) a plurality of pegs equal in number to the number of holes.

  • Patent number: 6659458
Abstract: A perpetual seal card game in which players purchase individual play cards and reveal indicia covered by removable covers. Indicia on the individual play cards indicate whether the player is an instant winner, continues playing as a challenging player or has lost the game. If the player is an instant winner, he receives a prize and is finished playing the game. If the player is a challenging player, he has an opportunity to challenge the prior game's winner. The challenging players identify themselves on a seal card containing a challenging player identification area and predetermined challenger indicia concealed by a removable cover. Once all of the challenging players have identified themselves, the predetermined challenger indicia is disclosed identifying the player who will challenge the prior game's winner. A second seal card, containing concealed indicia identifying the winner of the game, is used to determine the winner of the game.
