  • Patent number: 11957186
Abstract: A nursing and pumping garment includes a unitary exterior layer and a pumping layer seamlessly connected to the unitary exterior layer. The unitary exterior layer includes first and second breast covers, a central portion, and gathers between both the first breast cover and the central portion and the second breast cover and the central portion. The garment may be in one of: (1) a first state in which the unitary exterior layer is completely covering a central pumping edge and the garment is neither in a pumping or a breast feeding position; (2) a second state in which at least one aperture is formed to facilitate breast pumping; and (3) a third state in which the unitary exterior and pumping layers are both disconnected from a first bra strap or a second bra strap to facilitate breast feeding.

  • Patent number: 11910846
Abstract: A multipurpose nursing and pumping garment provides a nursing woman with a convenient way to both nurse and breast pump milk. The garment includes a first covering and a second covering arranged to form a surplice neckline. The length of a neckline edge of each covering provides freedom to move the first neckline edge from a covered position in which a wearer wears the first covering over a breast to a nursing position in which the wearer wears the first covering underneath the breast. Each covering is further provided with an aperture through which a breast shield may be inserted to pump milk. In some arrangements, each covering includes a lateral piece having a lateral edge and a medial piece having a medial edge. Each lateral edge and medial edge has bound and unbound portions. The aperture for each covering is created between each lateral edge and each medial edge.

  • Publication number: 20230338631
Abstract: A pumping garment provides a nursing woman with a hands-free way to hold breast shields in place while pumping milk. The pumping garment includes a top band and a main body that includes a primary piece with at least one panel overlapping the primary piece. An aperture portion of a lateral boundary of the primary piece and an aperture side of the at least one panel together define an aperture for supporting a breast shield. The primary piece may include an upper section and a bottom band, and the bottom band may be seamlessly connected to the upper section.
