  • Publication number: 20220027765
Abstract: There is a need for more effectively and efficiently performing predictive data analysis to determine associations between input data objects and predictive categories This need can be addressed by, for example, solutions for performing predictive data analysis to determine associations between input data objects and predictive categories that utilize at least one of accuracy scores for predictive categories, evidentiary scores for predictive categories, and predicted certification statuses for claim data objects. In one example, a method includes: for each predictive category of one or more predictive categories associated with a claim data object, determining an accuracy score and an evidentiary score; determining a predicted certification status for the claim data object based on each accuracy score for a predictive category and each evidentiary score for a predictive category; and performing prediction-based actions based on each predicted certification status.

  • Patent number: 10891547
Abstract: T-shirt size recommendation for a first user based on crowd sourcing. A recommendation for t-shirt size may be made by defining a first image of a container based on historical data related to container instantiation; receiving, by the computer, from a first user, a request to deploy a first instantiation of a container corresponding to the first image, with the request including input data including information indicative of a planned context of the first instantiation; applying a plurality of machine logic based rules to the input data to determine a first a first recommended T-shirt size associated with the first image; and communicating, by the computer, the first recommended T-shirt size to the first user for use with the first instantiation of the container corresponding to the first image.

  • Patent number: 10460091
Abstract: Providing supplemental authentication of a user based on hand gesture activity of a user with an application of a device after a user has completed a successful authentication challenge to initially access the device. Hand gesture activity of the user with the device is recorded during current use of an application of the device. The recorded hand gesture activity during current use of an application of the device is compared to previous recorded hand gesture activity during use of the same application of the device by an authorized user to provide a supplemental authentication of the user. When the recorded hand gesture activity does not match the previously recorded hand gesture activity during use of the same application, the use of the application on the device is halted and an additional authentication challenge requiring input from the user is presented to the user.

  • Patent number: 9811399
Abstract: Filtering audible notifications to the user from a device based on an enhanced white list with a static white list set by the user and a temporary white list. The temporary white list includes expiring entries. The entries of the temporary white are based on keywords and context extracted from the applications and activities on the device that are associated with a dependency list between applications of the device and context. If a notification is present on the temporary white list or the static list, the notification from the application audibly sound to the user through the device.

  • Publication number: 20140173426
Abstract: Computer-readable media, computer systems, and computing devices for inserting online content within editable content of a document being composed or manipulated within a document-authoring application, without exiting the document-authoring application or leaving a context of composing or manipulating the document, are provided. Initially, a user-initiated selection of a portion of the editable content within the document is detected. The selected portion of the editable content is automatically distributed to a search engine, where the search engine is equipped to generate search results that are relevant to the selected portion. Upon receiving the search results, they are presented to the user. At this point, the user is allowed to target at least one of the presented search results. Online content associated with the targeted search result is then inserted within the editable content of the document.

  • Publication number: 20080059608
Abstract: The present invention, generally speaking, provides a broad-based solution for acquisition, processing and distribution of media objects including pictures (images), movies, videos, graphics, sound clips, etc via the Internet or the like. And specifically, it is a solution to such systems for use in applications wherein there are multiple originators of media objects that will be viewed in multiple web sites having different viewing requirements. A browser-based Aprepare and post@ tool prepares and submits media objects from inside a standard browser to a remote server. A Media Acquisition, Processing and Distribution (MAPD) system receives these media objects, processes them to meet specific requirements, and delivers them for integration into remote databases. MAPD system services include media object submission, processing, hosting and mirroring. The hosting service delivers a media object URL to a remote database, allowing the media object to be requested and served by the media object server.

  • Publication number: 20060194190
Abstract: An instruction device and method of instruction for small children during toilet training to facilitate determining the amount of toilet paper to use to avoid over usage is provided by providing a roll of toilet paper that is mounted on a support structure adjacent a toilet. An instruction panel is positioned on a wall or other structure in proximity to the mounted roll of toilet paper. The instruction panel has indicia thereon to indicate a preselected length that may be compared to an unrolled length of the toilet paper.

  • Publication number: 20060020164
Abstract: An evertable tube having a lumen therethrough, an inflation port for inflating the tube, and a self-closing valve at the inflation port. The tube has an inflation port for inflating the tube to grip a member, such as a probe, in the lumen. Advancement of the member, for example through a colon, will then cause eversion of the tube. The inflation port is provided in the form of an aperture in the outer wall of the tube. The valve comprises a sheath extending from the port along a wall of the tube. The sheath may be fixed to the wall of the tube. The sheath may alternatively be integrally formed with the wall of the tube. The sheath extends from the inflation port along the wall of the tube parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube to an open end of the sheath.

  • Publication number: 20050209506
Abstract: A device to aid advancement of a colonoscope through the colon of a patient comprises an elongate body defining a colonoscope lumen. The body provides a fluid tight seal to the colonoscope. The body has an anchor to releasably anchor the interior wall of the colon to the device to enable a colonoscope to be more easily advanced. The anchor may be provided by suction apertures through which a suction is applied to draw the colon into anchored engagement with the body. The anchor may be provided by a balloon and/or foam based anchoring systems may be provided.

  • Publication number: 20050060180
Abstract: The present invention, generally speaking, provides an improved web-based media submission tool. As with some existing tools, operation of the tool is drag and drop or the user can “click” to browse a directory to select media objects. Unlike existing tools, the tool provides the user an opportunity to confirm the submission, for example by generating a thumbnail image of an image file that has been dragged and dropped. Batch submission is provided for in which a user drags and drops a plurality of images or other media objects. Submission from a web page to a web page is also provided for. The submission tool is configurable to perform a variable amount of intellegent preprocessing on media objects prior to upload. In the case of digital images, the tool can perform sizing and formatting, for example. Information capture is performed with information being uploaded together with the media objects. In an exemplary embodiment, information capture is both user-transparent (e.g.
