    Abstract: Methods of creating, embedding and using a searchable font are provided. One method comprises accessing a schematic using a first software operating at a first computer. The method further comprises embedding a mono-spaced font into line art text in the schematic and electronically converting the schematic into a Portable Document Format file. The mono-spaced font in the Portable Document Format file is configured to be electronically searchable by users using a second software.
