Abstract: A shoe sole including a first wall and a second wall, wherein the second wall is opposite the first wall at a spaced distance from the first wall, the first wall and second wall form a continuous channel therebetween for receiving an LED belt, the LED belt comprising a plurality of LED circuit boxes containing LED lights; the channel further including a plurality of recessed cavities for receiving the LED circuit boxes including the LED lights and a plurality of arcuate grooves for receiving portions of the LED belt that do not include the LED circuit boxes, wherein the plurality of arcuate grooves are positioned in an alternating pattern with the plurality of recessed cavities, the protrusions further forming a generally “C” shape indentation proximate to a perimeter along a first lateral side of the sole and a generally reverse “C” shape indentation proximate to the perimeter along a second lateral side of the sole.

Abstract: A wireless safety system coupled to a door operating system which moves a door between an open and closed position relative to a fixed location. The wireless safety system includes an electric powered safety sensor assembly for detecting an obstruction between the door and the fixed location. An electric energy source is coupled to the at least one electric powered safety sensor assembly configured to generate electric energy when the door moves between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: A door operating system for open and closing a door. The door operating system including a control unit for providing a signal indicative of whether the door is to be moved to an open or closed position. A motor mounting assembly is coupled to the control unit. The motor mounting assembly includes a motor operatively coupled to the control unit. The motor mount assembly further includes a primary chassis having a drive gear assembly coupled to the door and the motor and a secondary chassis isolated from vibrations with the primary chassis, the secondary chassis configured to mount to the motor assembly.

Abstract: A tilt latch and pivot housing which has a collapsible retainer on each of its side walls extending along a substantial portion of the length thereof and angularly outwardly from the side walls of the housing. The inner surface of each retainer is spaced from the surface of the adjacent side wall of the housing, thus forming a crevice or gap designed to receive the retainer when sufficient pressure is applied to the retainer's outer surface causing the retainer to deflect inwardly. According to some embodiments, portions of the retainers adjacent to the upper engagement ends therof are beveled. The retainers may also be beveled on one end to facilitate installation of the housing into a sash. The housing may also include a collapsible retainer formed at the bottom wall of the housing for preventing longitudinal movement of the housing after installation. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing sash windows having tilt latches and/or pivots incorporating the housings.
