  • Patent number: 11917551
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are drawn to methods and electronic devices capable of performing coordinate spatial reuse for wirelessly transmitting data on a channel in coordination with another wireless AP operating an overlapping BSS using the same wireless channel. The device can perform RSSI measurements and generate Per-RU RSSI reports including the RSSI measurements information for transmission to another wireless AP. The RSSI measurement can be performed by the device based on power levels detected when receiving TB PPDUs transmitted by wireless STAs responsive to trigger frames, for example. Based on the Per-RU RSSI report, a wireless AP can be configured to transmit data to an associated wireless STA without causing significant interference when another AP of the overlapping BSS is also transmitting, and can schedule frames for transmission from associated wireless STAs accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10823628
Abstract: A device to sense degree of twist in a screwdriver and the magnitude of force applied includes a contacting portion, a deformation portion, a sensing portion, and a processor. The contacting portion receives a grip and twist pressure through the deformation portion which is tiltedly fixed to the contacting portion. The deformation portion carries the sensing portion and elastically deforms under the force and/or the torsion. The sensing portion detects a deformation of the deformation portion and generates a corresponding electrical signal. The processor receives the signal and determines the values of the twist caused and the force applied.

  • Patent number: 8875071
Abstract: An automated method is provided for designing an integrated circuit. A net list of an integrated circuit design is generated, wherein the net list includes a scan chain having a sequence of individual scan cells. A sequence of two or more individual scan cells of the scan chain is identified as a candidate for replacement by a custom shift array macro cell. The identified sequence of two or more individual scan cells is then replaced with a custom shift array macro cell that provides a functionally equivalent shift function as the replaced sequence of two or more individual scan cells. The custom shift array macro cell includes only two input pins and one output pin.

  • Patent number: 8750573
Abstract: A method for detecting presence of a hand gesture in video frames includes receiving video frames having an original resolution, downscaling the received video frames into video frames having a lower resolution, and detecting a motion corresponding to the predefined hand gesture in the downscaled video frames based on temporal motion information in the downscaled video frames. The method also includes detecting a hand shape corresponding to the predefined hand gesture in a candidate search window within one of the downscaled video frames using a binary classifier. The candidate search window corresponds to a motion region containing the detected motion. The method further includes determining whether the received video frames contain the predefined hand gesture based on the hand shape detection.

  • Publication number: 20110137278
Abstract: A soaker pad for a cloth diaper comprising an outer layer, absorbent pad, inner layer, and side panels. The inner longitudinal edge of each side panel is folded inward to create a fold line and fold area. Elastics are located just inside the fold line to create an inner gusset. Elastics are situated parallel to the longitudinal edge of the outer layer to create an outer gusset. Neither the inner nor outer gusset is in contact with the inner layer. Each side panel is adhered to the outer layer in the margin along each longitudinal edge of the outer layer that is not in contact with the inner layer and along the outer margins of the inner layer. The fold area is adhered to the inner layer except at the middle portion of the fold area, thereby allowing the inner gusset to stand up and away from the inner layer.

  • Patent number: 5834365
Abstract: A structure and a process for forming an improved bonding pad which allows better bonding between a bond wire and a metal bonding pad. Stripes are formed on a substrate. A conformal dielectric layer, a conformal barrier layer and a metal layer are formed over the stripes. A passivation layer with a window is formed defining a bonding pad area. The stripes promote an irregular surface in the barrier and metal layers which reduce stress between the dielectric layer, the barrier layer and the metal layer. Also, the irregular surfaces increase the barrier metal adhesion to the dielectric layer, reduce bond pad peel off, and increase bonding yields.
