Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for signal processing at base station are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a digital unit (DU) compresses a block of baseband signal samples. The DU determines whether valley increment is to be applied on decompressed block of baseband signal samples by a radio unit (RU) connected with the DU, based on the compressed block. When determining that valley increment is not to be applied, the DU generates an indication for indicating not to apply valley increment. When determining that valley increment is to be applied, the DU determines information related to bit loss due to the compression. The DU sends, to the RU, the compressed block and the indication or the information related to bit loss.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a traceable in-situ micro- and nano-indentation testing instrument and method under variable temperature conditions. A macro-micro switchable mechanical loading module, a nano mechanical loading module and an indentation position optical positioning module are fixed on a gantry beam, an optical imaging axis of an optical microscopic in-situ observation or alignment module and a loading axis of the nano mechanical loading module are coplanar, the optical microscopic in-situ observation or alignment module and the function switchable module are mounted on a table top of a marble pedestal, and a contact or ambient mixed variable temperature module is fixedly mounted on the function switchable module. A modular design is adopted, the micro- and nano-indentation testing instrument is used as a core, in combination with a multi-stage vacuum or ambient chamber, an indentation depth traceability calibration module and multiple sets of optical microscopic imaging assemblies.

Wherein the PCM liner and/or the at least one PCM pod are disposable within the liquid reservoir such that when a liquid is disposed within the liquid reservoir the liquid will contact at least one of the PCM liner and the at least one PCM pod such that thermal energy can be exchanged between the liquid and the respective at least one of the PCM liner PCM and the at least one PCM pod PCM.

Abstract: A decoder including a receiver and a processor is disclosed. The receiver is configured to receive an encoded bitstream containing a motion vector (MV) candidate index for a current block. The processor is coupled to the receiver, and configured to obtain precisions of candidate motion vectors (MVs) corresponding to neighboring blocks of the current block, perform first rounding of the precisions based on a rounding scheme, perform second rounding of the candidate MVs based on the first rounding, perform pruning of the candidate MVs, generate a candidate list based on the second rounding and the pruning, and select one of the candidate MVs from the candidate list for decoding the current block based on the MV candidate index.

A method comprises determining two or more SRS resource sets for codebook or non-codebook based UL transmission of the mobile unit in the condition that the number of antenna ports simultaneously used by the mobile unit for transmitting is smaller than the number of antenna ports simultaneously used by the mobile unit for receiving; and transmitting a trigger associated with the two or more SRS resource sets to the mobile unit to trigger resource transmissions by the mobile unit.

Abstract: A compressor driving device includes a three-phase alternating current power supply input end, a relay module, a rectifier circuit, and a driving control circuit which are sequentially connected; the rectifier circuit is used for converting connected alternating current into direct current and then outputting the direct current to a direct current bus; the driving control circuit is used for converting the direct current output by the direct current bus into compressor driving power; a pressure switch is used for measuring the pressure value in a refrigerating system, and when the measured pressure value is larger than a preset pressure threshold, disconnecting the power supply circuit of the relay module; the driving control circuit is also used for detecting the on-off state of the pressure switch and controlling the compressor to stop working when the pressure switch is switched off.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for vectorization of transactions including: receiving electronic transaction information of one or more transactions of a user; for each transaction of the one or more transactions: segmenting the electronic transaction information of the transaction into one or more transaction words; generating a second transaction description related to the transaction; and identifying a category of the transaction; generating, based on the corresponding identified categories of the one or more transactions, a set of transaction history data of the user; providing the set of transaction history data of the user as an input to a machine learned model trained to output a set of word embedding vectors; determining, based on an output of the machine learned model comprising a set of word embedding vectors, a set of similar merchants; and providing the set of similar merchants for display to the user.

Abstract: A drive arrangement for a cycloidal marine propulsion unit including at least two electrical blade motors each associated to a respective blade for pivoting thereof, each blade motor being operationally coupled to a respective blade drive for actuating the corresponding blade motor. The at least two blade drives each include a respective blade drive power converter operationally coupled to a first common intermediate DC-link, wherein the at least two blade drives being configured to feed power from the first common intermediate DC-link to their respective blade motors, and to feed regenerative power from their respective blade motors to the first common intermediate DC-link. Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of biological products for veterinary medicine, and specifically relates to a recombinant foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) with a reduced immunosuppressive activity, a preparation method and use thereof, and a recombinant vaccine strain. According to the present disclosure, it is firstly discovered that FMDV 3B protein has an immunosuppressive function, and key sites for exerting the immunosuppressive function are found. A recombinant FMDV vaccine strain with a lost immunosuppressive function in FMDV 3B protein is constructed by introducing amino acid mutations into three repeated copies of FMDV 3B protein.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for positioning, and particularly, for data processing resource allocation positioning. The method includes determining a current system state of a system and allocating data processing resources of a data processing device based on the current system state. The system state may be determined based on operation conditions of positioning sensors of the system. The system state may correspond to one or more lifespan parameters. The method may enable allocation of limited computing resources to sensor data analysis models corresponding to positioning sensors in good operation conditions. Therefore, positioning can be performed accurately and efficiently.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) determines a communication resources pool including a channel occupancy ratio (CR) gap of each UE of a plurality of UEs in communication with the first UE, a CR gap of each UE representing a difference between a CR limit of that UE and a CR of that UE, The UE also can communicate, to a second UE of the plurality of UEs, a first CR command configured to allow the second UE to access a first portion of the communication resources pool. In some aspects, an amount of the first portion can be different from an amount of the CR gap of the second UE in the communication resources pool.

Abstract: A method for detecting an open/short circuit on a PCB design layout includes: reading PCB data of a to-be-checked PCB design layout, to output an image of each PCB layer included in the PCB design layout; performing a first connectivity analysis on the image of each PCB layer to classify pad patterns connected with each other in the same layer into a corresponding child network group; performing a second connectivity analysis to classify child network groups in which pad patterns connected by the same electroplated hole, into a corresponding parent network group; reading IPC netlist data of the PCB design layout, to obtain a netlist network group in which each pad pattern is; and determining whether a netlist network relationship of the pad patterns is consistent with a network relationship obtained after the second connectivity analysis in order to determine whether there is an open/short circuit.

Abstract: From among physical storage devices (PSDs) of a storage system, a set of two or more of the PSDs that are eligible for scrubbing may be determined; and from among the set, a relative eligibility of the PSDs may be determined. Conformance prediction analysis may be applied to determine the set and the relative eligibility of PSDs of the set. The conformance prediction analysis may determine a scrubbing eligibility classification (e.g., label), and a confidence value for the classification, which may serve as the relative eligibility of the PSD. The eligible PSDs may be ranked in an order according to determined confidence values, and may be further classified according to such order. The future workload of the storage system may be forecasted, and the scrubbing of PSDs may be scheduled based on the forecasted workload of the system and the relative eligibilities of the set of PSDs.
