    Abstract: Provided is a method for operating network switching by a mobile device. The method comprises the steps of connecting to a Wi-Fi network, detecting an interruption of a Wi-Fi signal, while connecting to the Wi-Fi network, obtaining a probability that the mobile device belongs to an exit zone, in response to detecting the interruption of the Wi-Fi signal, disconnecting the Wi-Fi network and connecting to a cellular network when the probability that the mobile device belongs to the exit zone is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, and maintaining connection to the Wi-Fi network when the probability that the mobile device belongs to the exit zone is less than the threshold value.
