Abstract: An opening device for a package having a main body filled with a pourable product comprises a collar having an inner surface delimiting a flow channel for the pourable product and having a pouring outlet, a closure group coupled to the collar and configured to selectively open and close the pouring outlet and one or more annular protrusion elements extending from the inner surface and into the flow channel. The closure group comprises a closure configured to selectively open and close the pouring outlet when respectively in an opening position and a closing position and a sealing lip extending from the closure. The sealing lip extends into the flow channel with the closure in the closing position. The sealing lip interacts with at least one of the annular protrusion elements for sealing the pouring outlet in cooperation with the annular protrusion elements with the closure in the closing position.
