    Abstract: A recognition system and a recognition method are provided. The recognition system includes a camera having a wide angle-of-view, a transmitter electrically connected to the camera, and a processor communicating with the transmitter. The camera is mounted on a body or a finger of a user, and captures one or more raw images of the limbs or hands. The transmitter transmits the one or more raw images of the limbs or hands to the processor. The processor transforms the one or more raw images of the limbs or hands into a corresponding gesture image, builds a recognition module according to a plurality of gesture images of the limbs or hands, and recognizes one or more new raw images of the limbs or hands captured by the camera with the recognition module so as to recognize a bodily gesture or a hand gesture.

    Abstract: A shape-sensing system includes a deformable object, a strip substrate, and a plurality of bend sensors. The deformable object is configured to deform when a first force is exerted on the deformable object. The strip substrate is installed in the shape-sensing system such that the strip substrate deforms in response to deformation of the deformable object. The plurality of bend sensors is fixedly attached to a surface of the strip substrate at different respective locations for generating respective values in response to deformation of the strip substrate. The respective values are used for obtaining tracked deformation of the deformable object.

    Abstract: A finger-touch tracking system is provided, including a magnet, a magnetic field sensing unit, and a computing unit. The magnet generates a magnetic field. The magnetic field sensing unit moves relative to the magnet, and has a substrate and a plurality of sensors disposed on the substrate. The sensors detect a magnetic flux density of the magnet, so as to generate a tracking signal reflecting a relative position of the magnet with respect to the magnetic field sensing unit. The computing unit receives the tracking signal via a network, and employs the received tracking signal as an input instruction upon the magnitude of the magnetic field.

The control unit determines six-dimensional (6D) orientation information of the foveal projection device relative to the desktop display area according to a projected image detected by the sensor, so as to control the foveal projection device to project the central image within a target area on the desktop display area. The manually adjustable fixture fixes the foveal projection device on top of the desktop display area, and the movement of the manually adjustable fixture has a freedom of up to six dimensions.

The image module provides a peripheral image with a first resolution to the peripheral projection device for projecting the same to a projection screen, and provides a foveal image with a second resolution to the foveal projection device for projecting the same to the projecting screen, such that an image picture can be integrally displayed on the projecting screen.
