Abstract: A bicycle-based mobile telephone charging apparatus is herein disclosed comprising a frame-mounted electrical generator utilizing contact with a tire portion in a conventional manner to produce power to be supplied to a voltage regulator and charging circuit located in a frame-mounted pouch near a front of the bicycle. Interconnecting cabling is routed along the bicycle frame between the generator and the pouch. It is envisioned that a specialized cable commonly provided with a cellular phone or other electronic devices, connects the apparatus to a charging jack portion of the mobile telephone. The mobile phone is then placed in the pouch allowing the batteries to be charged while the user rides the bicycle.
