  • Publication number: 20240045444
Abstract: An automated guided vehicle (AGV) management system including a battery recharge management module, a task management module, and an AGV path planning module is provided. The battery recharge management module manages the AGVs to be recharged by at least one wireless charging unit in a parking area. The AGV leaving the parking area has a battery charge higher than a charge threshold. The task management module receives tasks and assigns the tasks to the AGVs. The task includes information including at least one pick-up location, at least one drop-off location, and a due time. The AGV path planning module plans paths for the AGVs, respectively, according to the information of the assigned tasks. The task management module delays assigning the task to the AGV if the AGV is expected to complete the task earlier than the due time of the task.

  • Publication number: 20240006077
Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods for accurate generation of material maps of volume of interests, for example, that include implants, for proton radiation therapy. In one implementation, the method may include determining most probable energy (MPE) using particle energy determined from particle counting data. The method may include generating a plurality of simulations that simulate interactions using different combination of properties for the volume of interest determined from representation data and/or from a database to determine most probable energy (MPE) for each simulation. The method may include comparing the MPE determined using the particle counting data to the MPE determined from each simulation. The method may further include selecting one simulation of the plurality of simulations based on the comparing. The method may also include generating a material map for the volume of interest using the one or more properties corresponding to the one simulation.

  • Publication number: 20230325746
Abstract: The present application provides an AGV scheduling control system and method. The AGV scheduling control system includes: an AGV scheduling controller configured to generate an AGV scheduling instruction; an AGV configured to execute a task according to the AGV scheduling instruction; and a server that is communicatively coupled with the AGV scheduling controller and the AGV respectively, the server being configured to transfer messages between the AGV scheduling controller and the AGV, and provide adaptation to AGVs from different manufacturers. The AGV scheduling control system in the present application further includes a virtual AGV scheduling controller and a virtual AGV that serve as digital twins of the AGV scheduling controller and the AGV, and the programs used to control the virtual entity and the real entity are equivalently exchangeable.

  • Publication number: 20210197685
Abstract: A method for optimizing placement of on-the-go wireless charging units is provided. The on-the-go wireless charging units is configured for charging automated guided vehicles. The method includes the following steps. First, paths of the automated guided vehicles are acquired. Then, a charging demand distribution for each link between the waypoints based on the paths is computed. Finally, placement of the on-the-go wireless charging units on the links is optimized according to the charging demand distribution.
