Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a system generates a navigable interface for traversing sets of content based on system-determined relationships between the sets of content. The system uses a trained machine learning model to determine characteristics, such as layout, for sets of content. The characteristics are mapped to a content type. The system organizes the sets of content, based on respective content type, into a set of pages of a multipage navigable interface. Furthermore, the system selects navigational relationships between the sets of content based on respective content type. The navigational relationships are implemented via interface elements that allow for navigation between the pages of the navigable interface including corresponding sets of content.

Each UI component can advertise which sections of the UI can be independently databound to individual properties coming from data of backend services. When the user wishes to databind a UI component, the sections of the UI that can be databound now transforms to show relevant text describing the function of that particular section. The user can be presented with a databinding interface that consistent of all the possible pieces of data that the user can bind to as well as visual slots that map to the slots in the visual preview. To databind a component, a user can drag and drop the particular piece of data from the available list, and drop that into the slot they want that data to apply to.

The auction method includes the steps of specifying catalog contents for packaging for an auction operation hosted on the electronic exchange. Initial terms for the sale of the contents are then specified. The auction is then automatically initiated using the previously specified contents and the previously specified terms. The auction proceeds with the receiving of bids for the contents from remote bidders. The bids are received via a distributed computing network into which the electronic commerce exchange is communicatively coupled. A winning bid is selected by determining a most competitive bid out of the bids received for the contents. A sale of the contents is then completed based upon the terms of the most competitive bid.

The update configuration information includes a time interval for receiving bid status updates. An auction is conducted wherein bid information received from the remote bidders is compared to determine a bid status and wherein the bid status is used to determine the bid status updates for the remote bidders. The bid status includes information regarding the most competitive, or winning, bid and any associated terms. The bid status updates are disseminated to the remote bidders via the distributed computer network in accordance with the update configuration information. At the conclusion of the auction, an auction winner is designated in accordance with the latest most competitive bid of the bid status.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for supplying data to users through “query objects”, where the data corresponds to attributes of domain objects and is stored in a relational database. The query objects create a bridge between the information the user wants to see (as expressed in the user interface presented to the user), the object model in which domain logic is implemented, and the relational model in which the data is stored. Thus, data used to populate the user interface is queried directly from the data model and returned in the shape required by the user interface. As the query results are read into memory, objects that model the data using object-oriented techniques are instantiated. Subsequent manipulation of the data is redirected to those objects, thereby preserving data encapsulation and allowing reuse of existing logic.
