Abstract: A system and a method for routing an instant message which can refer to a Converged IP Messaging (CPM) message are provided. The instant message, for example, CPM message and the like, is sent to a plurality of terminals having the same user identification of the same user; in the case that the receiving party uses a plurality of terminals online simultaneously, the communication system such as a CPM system routes the instant message such as CPM message to a plurality of terminals respectively. Thereby, the problem of routing when forwarding an instant message such as a ‘one number more machines” CPM message can be solved, further, the transmission of messages in the communication system such as the CPM system is realized better, and improving the user experience.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for transmitting a large message mode CPM message. A MSRP link is created respectively between a CPM client at a sending end and a participating function entity at a source end, between the participating function entity at the source end and a CPM control function entity, and between the CPM control function entity and an inter-working function entity based on a media negotiation process before the CPM client transmits a large message mode CPM message to a non-CPM system receiver in a target group; then, the CPM client at the sending end sends the contents of the large message mode CPM message to the inter-working function entity through each created MSRP link sequentially; and the inter-working function entity sends the received contents of the large message mode CPM message to the non-CPM system receiver after performing protocol conversion on the received contents.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for negotiating MSRP connection parameters. The method comprises completing the negotiation of the MSRP parameters via a SDP negotiation process between a CPM client at the transmitting side, an originating participation function entity, a terminating participation function entity and a CPM client at the receiving side, that is, carrying the MSRP connection parameters of a transmitter of a SDP datagram in the SDP datagram carried in a session invite message and/or a success response message message. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art that the negotiation of the MSRP connection parameters cannot be achieved by a MSRP transmission link, thereby improving a scheme of transmitting a large message mode CPM message.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of establishing a media transmission link for transmitting a large message mode Converged IP Messaging (CPM) message to a group. The method comprises the following steps: Session Description Protocol (SDP) media parameter negotiation is accomplished through session invite messages and success response messages among a transmitter CPM client, a source participation function entity, a controlling function entity, a destination participation function entity and a receiver CPM client; according to the negotiation result, media transmission links are respectively established between the transmitter CPM client and the source participation function entity, between the source participation function entity and the controlling function entity, between the controlling function entity and the destination participation function entity, and between the destination participation function entity and the receiver CPM client.

Abstract: A multi-terminal communication method, system and apparatus are provided. The method includes: receiving a call request originated by a caller to a voice terminal of a callee, where the call request carries a video media identifier; and setting up a voice session between the voice terminal of the callee and the caller and setting up a video session between a video terminal of the callee and the caller according to the video media identifier. With the present disclosure, a Service Broker Function server (SBF) sets up a voice session between the caller and the voice terminal of the callee and a video session between the caller and the video terminal of the callee so that it is unnecessary for data exchanged between the caller and the callee (multiple terminals) to pass through a local server. The burden of the local server is thereby relieved.
