  • Patent number: 11951155
Abstract: A pea-derived peptide with a muscle-building effect and a preparation method thereof, and a drug and use, are disclosed. A pea protein is subjected to enzymatic hydrolysis, and five polypeptides with muscle-building effect are obtained by separation as separate peptide fragments. In an in vitro aging skeletal muscle cell assay, changes are analyzed in a gene expression level of regulatory pathways related to skeletal muscle cell proliferation and differentiation, apoptosis and autophagy, and protein synthesis and degradation. In addition, animal experiments are conducted to study the muscle-building effect and a corresponding mechanism of the pea-derived peptide. This shows that the five polypeptide sequences have a significant muscle-building effect, usable as a polypeptide drug for the treatment of sarcopenia.

  • Publication number: 20220207478
Abstract: A computing system can facilitate an on-demand delivery service by receiving menu item requests and transmit corresponding order requests to menu item preparers. The system can execute one or more trained predictive models using a set of current predictive metrics for the menu item preparer to generate probability curves for driver wait time and menu item sit time against a logical cost to the on-demand delivery service. The system may then utilize the curves to determine an optimal arrival time for a selected delivery provider to pick up the menu items for delivery.

  • Patent number: 11044486
Abstract: A virtual desktop can be remoted to a client device by transmitting a video stream using a video coding format, such as H.264, where higher resolution video can be streamed than natively supported by the encoder or decoder. The encoder framebuffer is divided into a plurality of equal size child buffers, each child buffer is assigned an identifier for identifying the child buffer. Padding pixels can be added to the child buffers to make the child buffer size acceptable for the video coding format. The child buffers are encoded using the video coding format and the encoded frames are transmitted to a client. On the decoder side, the encoded child frames are decoded, padding pixels are removed, and the data is used to update corresponding child buffers in a framebuffer on the client display system.

  • Patent number: 11017013
Abstract: Image cache collaboration is described to enable multiple clients to share image data in a remote desktop environment. A centralized cache manager maintains information about all image caches on all client devices which have established connections to the server. When an update to a portion of the GUI of a virtual desktop for a first client device is detected, the central cache manager can determine whether any other client devices contain the requested image data in their respective image caches. If such a device is identified, the server transmits a message to the first client device, identifying the second client device that contains the requested image data in its respective image cache. The first client device may then request and receive the image data from the second client device over the LAN on which both devices reside, thereby obtaining the data with less latency.

  • Patent number: 10691310
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for copying/pasting items in a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment a request is received to copy an item from a first virtual machine and paste the item to a second virtual machine. A unique identifier of the item is generated. An indication is received at the second virtual machine, from a communication broker, that the item is at the first virtual machine. The item is received at the second virtual machine directly from the first virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 10355986
Abstract: A method and device for forwarding an interest packet based on a probability tree in an information network. By introducing a probability tree, the process of forwarding an interest packet is finally changed into a selection process: starting from a root node of the probability tree, selecting child nodes of a current node according to the probability of each child node of the current node, and stopping selecting until the selected child node is a leaf node. Moreover, the introduced probability tree provides a good carrier for machine learning. By considering the selection process as an optimization problem, the selection process can be converged to be approximate to an optimal state using online machine learning, and moreover, the probability of each node in the probability tree can be adjusted according to changes in network conditions, so that the forwarding method and device have strong adaptability to the network changes, thereby improving self-adaptability.

  • Patent number: 8612134
Abstract: Techniques describe determining a correlation between identified locations to recommend a location that may be of interest to an individual user. The process constructs a location model to identify locations. To construct the model, the process uses global positioning system (GPS) logs of geospatial locations collected over time and identifies trajectories representing trips of the individual user and extracts stay points from the trajectories. Each stay point represents a geographical region where the individual user stayed over a time threshold within a distance threshold. A location history is formulated for the individual user based on a sequence of the extracted stay points to identify locations. The process determines a correlation between identified locations. The process integrates travel experiences of individual users who have visited the locations in a weighted manner and identifies a common travel sequence which the individual users followed between the locations.

  • Publication number: 20100211308
Abstract: Interesting location identification embodiments are presented that generally involve identifying and providing the interesting locations found in a given geospatial region. This is accomplished by modeling the location histories of multiple individuals who traveled through the region of interest, and identifying interesting locations in the region based on the number of individuals visiting a location weighted in terms of the travel experience of those individuals. A prescribed number of the top most interesting locations in a specified region can be provided upon request. In addition, prescribed numbers of the top most popular travel sequences through the interesting locations and the top most experienced travelers in the specified region can be provided as well.
