Abstract: Insecticidally active compounds are disclosed, defined by the general formula ##STR1## in which R is hydrogen or methyl;R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl;R.sup.2 is a member selected from the group consisting of methyl, methoxy, ethyl, and ethoxy;R.sup.3 is alkoxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; andX is oxygen or sulfur.

Abstract: This invention relates to the utility of certain thiocyano-xanthates as biocidal and miticidal agents having the formula ##STR1## wherein X equals -O or -S; and R is selected from the group consisting of alkyl containing from 1 to 7 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl containing from 2 to 7 carbon atoms, naphthyl, phenyl and substituted phenyl wherein the substituents can be selected from the group consisting of alkyl containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, alkoxy containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, halogen and nitro. The compounds of this invention are biocidally and miticidally active.

Abstract: Compound having the formula ##STR1## wherein R can be selected from the group consisting of benzhydryl and lower alkyls having from about 5 to about 8 carbon atoms; R.sub.1 can be selected from the group of alkenyl, methyl thiomethyl, aryl, aralkyl, substituted aralkyl, cycloalkyl and lower alkyls, having from about 1 to about 6 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 can be selected from the group consisting of alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, methyl thiomethyl, cycloalkyl and lower alkyls, having from about 5 to about 10 carbon atoms and X can be selected from the group consisting of organic acids, inorganic acids or is non-existant, thus forming a free base, the organic and inorganic acids are preferably those selected from the group consisting of HI, HBr, HCl, H.sub.2 SO.sub.4, (COOH).sub.2, Chrysanthemumic acid, HCO.sub.2 CH.sub.3, ##STR2## These compounds are active insecticides, miticides and lepidoptericides which can be applied to insects, mites or lepidoptera at any stage of development.

Abstract: This invention relates to a process for manufacturing phosphono imidate compounds corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## wherein R can be selected from alkylene having at least 2 carbon atoms, alkenylene having at least 2 carbon atoms, cycloalkylene, arylene, substituted arylene wherein the substituents can be halo or nitro; R.sub.1 can be alkyl; R.sub.2 can be selected from alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cyano alkyl, aralkyl, alkanoyl alkyl, alkylmercapto alkyl, N-thiazolyl acetamido, phthalimido alkyl, arylthioalkyl, haloarylthioalkyl, thiocyanoalkyl and mixtures thereof.

Abstract: New compounds having the formula: ##STR1## in which R is hydrogen or methyl and R.sub.1 can be selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, alkenyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl and substituted phenyl in which the substituents can be selected from the group consisting of halo, lower alkoxy, nitro, lower alkyl and thio-lower alkyl. The compounds are useful as fungicides, bactericides and algaecides.

Abstract: Novel compounds of the general formula: ##SPC1##Wherein X is oxygen or sulfur; and R is selected from the group consisting of alkyl containing 1 through 8 carbon atoms, halosubstituted alkyl containing 1 through 8 carbon atoms, phenyl, benzyl, and halosubstituted phenyl are herbicidally active.

Abstract: This invention relates to the utility of certain benzamides as bactericidal agents having the formula ##SPC1##Wherein R is halogen substituted phenyl, preferably mono or di halogen substituted at least one of which is in the meta position and R' is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and phenyl. Said compounds are bactericidally active.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##EQU1## in which R is alkoxy having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R.sup.1 is alkyl having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or alkoxy having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; X is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxy or ethoxy and Y is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxy or ethoxy as insecticides, acaricides or herbicides.
