Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method of controlling operation of a mobile terminal are provided. According to one embodiment, a method includes: accessing a webstore; searching the webstore to locate applications that meet a predefined application recommendation condition; and controlling a display module to display an application selection screen to facilitate downloading of one of the located applications. In this way, it is possible to allow a user to more quickly search for and download desired applications from a webstore.
