  • Publication number: 20170366641
Abstract: A social networking platform can provide universal profiles. A universal profile can define a user's account on the social networking platform of the present invention and can include a number of different endpoints by which the user can establish channels with other users. These endpoints can include a phone number endpoint and an email endpoint as well as a number of endpoints pertaining to the user's profiles with other social networking platforms. A user can define which endpoints will be included in his or her universal profile. Then, when other users view the user's universal profile, they will be able to see which endpoints the user has included and will be able to create a channel with the user via any of the endpoints.

  • Patent number: 9513054
Abstract: Provided are a fan for use in a kiln and a method of using a fan in a kiln. The fan is connected to a motor using a hollow shaft and universal joints. An expansion joint is used to allow the hollow shaft to contract and expand during use. The bearings are sealed against corrosion caused by an environment within the kiln.

  • Publication number: 20120211479
Abstract: A welding wire conduit includes an outer tube, a wire spring disposed within the outer tube, and a plurality of cylindrical segments disposed within the wire spring. Each cylindrical segment includes a generally convex first axial end and a generally concave second axial end, and the first axial ends of the cylindrical segments are configured to mate with the second axial ends of the cylindrical segments.

  • Publication number: 20050277359
Abstract: The rigid balloon has a chamber to hold lighter-than-air gas portions to retain a structural member or members and a separate light gas is filled into the chamber through a valve in the balloon. Structural members are inserted into the portion to help retain the desired shape of the balloon. The structural members also provide a counterbalancing weight which prevents the balloon from floating upward. Thus, the balloon, once released into the air, will retain its shape and remain floating at the height from which it was released unless repositioned.

  • Patent number: 6286986
Abstract: An improved oil and gas well servicing apparatus for blending and delivering a slurry of fracturing fluid and particulate matter at constant flow rate and pressure to a downhole pump is disclosed. Multiple blending tubs are mounted on a trailer or skid and are manifolded together in a slurry discharge manifold. The slurry discharge manifold combines the slurry discharged by the blending tubs and incorporates pipe sections of equal length to connect the blending tubs to the manifold. It is believed that the slurry discharge manifold and equal length piping provide balanced pressure drop between the individual blending tubs and creates a constant outlet pressure from the slurry discharge manifold. A fluid intake manifold may also be included to distribute fracturing fluid to the blending tubs. Hose connectors on each of the manifolds are provided on both sides of the apparatus for convenient operation from either side.
