  • Publication number: 20190077558
Abstract: An aerosol container for an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container has an outer container. The outer container has a closed end bottom and a longitudinally opposed threaded open neck. The open neck has one or more pawls or ratchets disposed near the neck. The pawls or ratchets allow a complementary valve to be threaded onto the neck. The valve has complementary ratchets or pawls. The ratchet and pawl combination co-acts to impede or even prevent reverse rotation and subsequent removal of the valve. The outer container may be made from a preform having the ratchets and/or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process. A valve having a housing may have ratchets and or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process.

  • Publication number: 20180339841
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser having a valve for dispensing product through a valve stem. The valve stem is protected by a sheath, to reduce breakage. The sheath extends equal to or above the height of the valve stem, to absorb axially compressive loads and side impact loads. The sheath can occur in the aerosol dispenser, an aerosol container, an outer container, a preform and/or in the valve. The aerosol dispenser can include bags, pistons and dip tubes.

  • Patent number: 9375638
Abstract: An apparatus for dividing a split screen video game display into two separate video displays, for displaying two different screens. The apparatus includes a main switch box which connects to the game console and emulates all the connections expected by the game console. The main switch box wirelessly connects to a receiver switch box. The main switch box takes the video signal from the game console, divides the split screen into two halves, and outputs one half on a first screen connected to the main switch box and sends the other half to the receiver switch box for output on a second screen connected to the receiver switch box. The main switch box also takes a first headset input signal and a second headset input signal from the receiver switch box and combines the headset signals into one signal for sending to the game console.

  • Patent number: 8768653
Abstract: Included are systems and methods for modeling compliant parts. Some of the systems and/or methods include creating a 3-dimensional simulation of a product that includes an outer part and an inner part, determining a deformation characteristic of the product, and simulating an interaction of the inner part with the outer part. Similarly, in some of the systems and/or methods a characteristic of interaction may be measured from the interaction, a determination may be made regarding whether the characteristic of interaction meets a predetermined threshold. In some of the systems and/or methods, in response to determining that the characteristic of interaction meets the predetermined threshold, an output may be sent indicating product design acceptability. In response to determining that the characteristic of interaction does not meet the predetermined threshold, the 3-dimensional simulation may be iteratively altered until the characteristic of interaction meets the predetermined threshold.
