  • Patent number: 9377333
Abstract: A turbine flow meter housing is provided for hot oil trucks and similar applications. The ends of the housing are configured with external threads and flat end faces with embedded O-rings for connection to the inlet and outlet pipes with hammer unions. Because of the flat end face style hammer union connections, the housing and turbine assembly can be removed for service and cleaning using only a hammer and without having to remove the inlet and outlet pipes. The housing is sized for use with 2-inch pipes and has an overall length of only 6.167 inches yet maintains a minimum crush zone of 0.157 inches on each end to prevent deformation when the hammer unions are tightened.

  • Patent number: 7066250
Abstract: A vibrator apparatus for inducing longitudinal vibrations in a well tubing or casing member for various operations, or for removing stuck tubing or casing. The apparatus includes a vibrator section with spaced apart rotatable shafts carrying eccentric weights and interconnected by timing gears. The shafts are driven by respective pressure fluid motors. The vibrator section is mounted on an isolator section including spaced apart pressure fluid cylinder assemblies for isolating vibrations generated by the apparatus from wellhead structure supporting the apparatus. A fluid flow circuit includes a pump, a manifold, flow control devices for generating fluid flow through the cylinder assemblies and accumulators for damping fluid pressure and flow fluctuations in the circuit.

  • Patent number: 5370326
Abstract: A device used for winding line from a bulk supply onto a reusable spool. The empty spool is placed on a shaft having a plate on one end to hold the spool and a threaded portion on the other end. Then, the shaft is positioned through a sleeve with an integral plate for holding the spool. The sleeve rests in a bearing member supported by a base. A hub with internal threads screws onto the shaft pulling the two plates together. Once the spool is held tightly between the two plates, the hub engages the sleeve and the spool begins to rotate with the hub, sleeve, plates, and shaft.
