  • Patent number: 7942798
Abstract: A resistance arrangement of a waist-twisting machine, wherein the waist-twisting machine includes a rotating disc for the lower limb of the operator to stand thereon and swiveled under application of force, a rotating handlebar for the upper limb of the operator to hold thereon and swiveled under application of force, and a coupling mechanism for synchronically and reversely coupling the rotating disc and the rotating handlebar. Moreover, a resistance-adjustable apparatus is interposed between the bottom base and the upright rod transmission shaft.

  • Patent number: 7789817
Abstract: An exerciser for the sake of training the abdominal muscle group, wherein the operator may rotate on his backbone for taking a twisting exercise for his upper and lower bodies in reverse (different) direction; and wherein the exerciser includes a rotating disc mechanism for the lower limb of the operator to stand thereon and swiveled under application of force, a rotating handlebar mechanism for the upper limb of the operator to hold thereon and swiveled under application of force, and a coupling mechanism for synchronically and reversely coupling the rotating disc mechanism and the rotating handlebar mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7775953
Abstract: A waist twist machine having a base frame, a rear support, and a front upright rod with a handle at the top thereof. A crossbar is positioned near the center of the base frame. A rotating rod is pivotally disposed at the top of the crossbar. A rotating plate assembly is pivotally connected to the rotating rod. The rotating plate assembly includes a front rotating arm, a rear rotating arm, and two foot plates that are pivotally connected to one another. The bottom of the front and the rear end of the foot plates is pivotally attached to the front and rear rotating arms. The front and rear rotating arms each include a pivoting portion at the center thereof. The pivoting portions are pivotally coupled to both ends of the rotating rod. As a result, the front and rear rotating arms create a rotational deformation due to the action of the pivoting points when the foot plates are subject to force and are rotated. In this way, both of the foot plates create more rotational angles.

  • Publication number: 20100200378
Abstract: A power cut off switch for an exercise apparatus including two power contact tongues stably received within a housing in cooperation with elastic elements. The power contact tongues have certain distance from each other. The housing includes a hollow positioning portion corresponding to a pin body and a sliding collar such that the sliding collar provided for establishing an electric connection and moved by the pin body is receivable within the housing in such a way that the sliding collar is slidable within the positioning portion without detachment from the housing. As a result, the sliding collar is moved toward the power contact tongues when the pin body is inserted into the positioning portion of the housing. In this way, the sliding collar is in contact of the power contact tongues to establish an electric connection. In moving the pin body in a reverse direction, the sliding collar is detached from the power contact tongues such that an expected disconnection safety is ensured.

  • Publication number: 20100101926
Abstract: A safety mechanism for a power path uses a mechanical structure for disconnecting a power path and providing a safety measure for electric equipments. The safety mechanism includes a casing, two conducting copper plates, a slide base, two rotating blocks, two sets of resilient elements and an insert pin. When the power path is connected, the insert pin must be always situated in a pin hole of the casing and inserted completely for contacting and conducting the corresponding pins of the two conducting copper plates. If it is necessary to disconnect a circuit in an emergency situation, users simply pull out the insert pin to rotate the rotating block accordingly, and allow the rotating block to synchronously drive the slide base to displace, such that the corresponding pins of the two conducting copper plates are forced to separate to form a disconnected circuit status.
