Abstract: A fire delaying wall panel is provided that comprises a layer of cellular cardboard, comprising cell spaces surrounded by cardboard, the layer of cellular cardboard comprising a paper sheet on a first surface of the layer of cellular cardboard. Preferably, inert grains that are inert in fire, such as perlite and/or vermiculite grains are provided, in the cell spaces. A layer of fire resistant adhesive is provided on the paper sheet. A layer of iron or glass netting or a fiber mat is embedded in the layer of fire resistant adhesive, the fire resistant adhesive covering the paper sheet in mazes of the iron netting.
