  • Publication number: 20100147143
Abstract: A stab-resistant insert for a protective textile can include at least one metal layer of a fabric of metal wires or metal cords and at least one textile layer. The textile layer is in contact with and is connected to the metal layer and the textile layer can be a non-woven material. The stab-resistant insert advantageously combines a high level of stab-resistance with a high degree of comfort.

  • Patent number: 7341076
Abstract: A woven fabric in which warp elements are provided out of metal. The fabric further comprising at least a first set of substantially parallel binding elements present in warp direction of the fabric. This first set of binding elements bind the warp elements to the weft elements by means of a leon weave at at least a part of the intersection points of warp and weft elements. The fabric as subject of the invention is characterized in that each binding element of the first set of binding elements crosses more than one warp element between consecutive intersection points bound by this binding element.

  • Patent number: 6336478
Abstract: A shed-forming device, in particular an electronically controlled jacquard machine, with a number of combinations of at least two selection systems (3, 6 7), (5, 8, 9) respectively with selection elements provided one above the other. Each selection system comprises two hooks (6), (7), (8), (9) working together and that can be moved up and down by lifting device (13), (14) which can be selected by a selection element (3), (5). Hooks of different selection systems of a combination can be moved up and down, allowing for the use of simple selection elements. Two selection systems are provided per combination. This enables the number of selection systems with similar machine dimensions to be almost doubled in relation to the known devices.

  • Publication number: 20010004905
Abstract: A shed-forming device, in particular an electronically controlled jacquard machine, with a number of combinations of at least two selection systems (3, 6, 7), (5, 8, 9) respectively with selection elements provided one above the other whereby each selection system comprises two hooks (6), (7), (8), (9) working together and that can be moved up and down by lifting means (13), (14) which can be selected by a selection element (3), (5) whereby hooks of different selection systems of a combination can be moved up and down separately from each other. Because of this simple selection elements can be used.
