  • Publication number: 20240016631
Abstract: An endograft delivery device assembly a guide wire cannula extending distally from the tip to a handle assembly at the distal end. A positioner is disposed around the guide wire cannula. A sheath extends from the handle assembly over the positioner towards the tip. A sheath splitter assembly is within the handle assembly, and includes a splitter body attached to the positioner and disposed within the sheath and at least one splitter arm. The splitter body defines a through-hole through which a guide wire cannula passes. The splitter arm extends laterally from the splitter body though a slit though the sheath to a support within the handle assembly. The splitter body includes a circumferential sealing surface extending towards the tip, the sealing surface and the inner surface of the sheath dimensioned such that the sheath is circumferentially stretched over the sealing surface thereby forming a seal.

  • Patent number: 11748962
Abstract: A computer-implemented method implements a resilient interdependent spatial alignment (RISA) process to improve and maintain spatial alignment between two associated coordinate systems by moving a follow coordinate system to align it to a lead coordinate system. In some use cases, the coordinate systems may be a physical space and a corresponding digital model of the space. A user device such as an augmented reality headset or robotic sensors may be moving in the physical space, and alignment to the model is continually maintained, updated and improved responsive to acquired spatial data to enable, for example, holographic display of the model in the headset very closely aligned to the physical space. Multiple volumes can each have corresponding digital “spaces” or RisaSites to manage anchor data with dynamic hand-off among them while accommodating differing scale and density.

  • Patent number: 11557046
Abstract: Single-moment alignment of imprecise overlapping digital spatial datasets, maximizing local precision, is described. In an embodiment, the process receives points of association that each have a location in a first coordinate system and a corresponding location in a second coordinate system, the latter misaligned relative to the first. The disclosed process in three steps determines and reports parameters to precisely align the followSpace the leadSpace. The parameters to align the followSpace may include a new origin location, or an equivalent translation, and a new orientation, generally in 3D space, of the followSpace coordinate system. Where needed, the parameters may include a scaling factor. Among many applications of the alignment process are augmented reality systems.

  • Publication number: 20220298872
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing torque in a drill string includes a clamp assembly having a first clamp segment and a second clamp segment, the first and second clamp segments each being generally arcuate and configured to connect together so as to secure the clamp assembly around an oilfield tubular and prevent the clamp assembly from axial and rotational movement relative to the oilfield tubular. The first and second clamp segments each include a first extension and a second extension, each of the first and second extensions having a tapered end that decreases in outer diameter as proceeding in an axial direction, so as to provide a conical guide surface. An outer sleeve is positioned around the clamp assembly, is configured to rotate with respect to the oilfield tubular and the clamp assembly, and is prevented from axial movement relative thereto.
