  • Publication number: 20250172315
Abstract: A ventilator for a building structure is disclosed. The ventilator has a housing defining (i) a first air flow plenum configured to be fluidly connected to the interior of the building at a first end and the exterior of the building at a second end, and (ii) a second air flow plenum configured to be fluidly connected to the interior of the building at a first end and the exterior of the building at a second end. A core defines portions of each of the first air flow plenum and the second air flow plenum and configured to transfer heat between the first air flow plenum and the second air flow plenum. A first sensor is located in the first air flow plenum to provide a sensed characteristic of the air in the first air flow plenum and a second sensor is located in the second air flow plenum to provide a sensed characteristic of the air in the second air flow plenum. A blower configured to move air through at least one of the first air flow plenum and the second air flow plenum.

  • Publication number: 20230167995
Abstract: A system and method for obtaining environmental data—namely air quality information—from various devices contained within a structure is disclosed herein. The various devices contain sensors that can obtain environmental data, which is then analyzed by the system to determine if any level of a component within the data is outside of a predefined threshold range. If the system determines that the level of the component is outside of the predefined threshold range for that given component, the system will carry out certain steps in order to bring the level within the predetermined threshold range. These steps include selecting the appropriate appliance and the proper operating conditions to most efficiently bring the level back within the predetermined threshold range. Once the system has determined that the level is back within the predetermined threshold range, the system will instruct the selected appliance to turn OFF.

  • Publication number: 20220381459
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an air quality management system may include a mobile application distributed to at least one user device, at least one air quality management device, and at least one computing resource, wherein the at least one computing resource operates a first networking layer configured to receive input from the at least one mobile application. Also, the at least one computing resource operates a second networking layer that receives input from the at least one air quality management device. The air quality management system may further comprise a data connection between the first and second networking layers to transfer commands of the at least one mobile application from the first networking layer to the second networking layer, and to transfer device information of the at least one air quality management device from the second networking layer to the first networking layer.
