  • Patent number: 7891412
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular for an air conditioning, ventilation and/or heating device of a motor vehicle, said heat exchanger comprising a plurality of stacked modules (100) which define two series of distinct channels for circulation of first and second heat transfer fluids and are connected to inlet and outlet ducts (101, 102, 104, 105) for both heat transfer fluids.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 21, 2004
Date of Patent: February 22, 2011
    Assignee: Valeo Systemes Thermiques
Inventors: Didier Loup, Régine Haller, Loic Lepetit
  • Publication number: 20070119197
Abstract: The invention relates to an air conditioning device for the passenger compartment of a vehicle, said device comprising a first closed loop (BF) which contains an evaporator (BF5), through which an air stream (F) may flow, and in which a first coolant may flow such as to transfer cold to said air stream in the evaporator. According to said invention, the device comprises a second closed loop (BS) in which a second coolant may flow between the evaporator (BF5) and a tank (BS2), such as to receive cold from the first coolant in the evaporator for storing the same in the tank and returning to the air stream in the evaporator, according to the cooling capacity, produced by the first loop and to the air conditioning needs.

  • Publication number: 20070068650
Abstract: Heat exchanger with thermal inertia for a heat transfer fluid circuit, particularly of a motor vehicle A heat exchanger for a heat transfer fluid circuit comprising ducts for the circulation of the heat transfer fluid, which are inserted between an inlet and an outlet, is described. Cavities designed to contain a heat storage fluid adjacent to the cooling fluid circulation ducts and associated with heat-exchange surfaces, so that heat storage fluid is capable of exchanging heat with the air flow, if the circulation of the heat transfer fluid is stopped, are also described.

Abstract: A heat exchanger for a heat transfer fluid circuit comprising ducts for the circulation of the heat transfer fluid, which are inserted between an inlet and an outlet, is described. Cavities designed to contain a heat storage fluid adjacent to the cooling fluid circulation ducts and associated with heat-exchanger surfaces, so that heat storage fluid is capable of exchanging heat with the air flow, if the circulation of the heat transfer fluid is stopped, are also described.

  • Publication number: 20060137853
Abstract: The invention relates to a ventilation, heating and/or air conditioning equipment for the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle provided with a main thermodynamic loop comprising at least, according to the direction of flow of a refrigerant fluid: a compressor (14), a condenser (16), an expansion device (20), and a main air-cooling evaporator (22). According to the invention, the equipment furthermore comprises a secondary fluid loop for the flow of a heat conductor fluid coupled with the main thermodynamic loop in order to cool the heat conductor fluid when this is desirable.
