Abstract: A lotion applicator assembly includes a plate that has a front side, a back side and a perimeter edge. An absorbent member for absorbing fluids is attached to and covers the front side. The absorbent member has an outer surface positioned opposite of the front side. A handle has a first end, a second end and a perimeter surface extending between the first and second ends. The handle has a longitudinal axis extending through the first and second ends and the handle has a length from the first end to the second end between 8 inches and 24 inches. A coupler is attached to the plate and releasably engages the handle adjacent to the first end to secure the handle to the plate. The plate lies in a plane orientated parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle. The absorbent member receives lotion to be applied to a person's body.
